Dr. Dan Erickson, owner of Accelerated Urgent Care, spoke at Monday’s “White Coat Summit” on Capitol Hill as part of a greater effort to extinguish fears surrounding the Chinese coronavirus and reminded the public that “99.8 percent of people get through this with little to no progressive or significant disease.”
Erickson addressed the dominant narrative of rising cases of the virus within the U.S. and pointed out that it is causing undue fear.
“A case is a person, healthy, that tested positive. The vast majority. But the public hears cases and thinks, ‘Oh my goodness. These are sick people!’ No the vast majority — 99.8 percent of people get through this with little to no progressive or significant disease,” Erickson said.
The focus should not center on cases, he continued. Rather, the narrative should focus on hospitalizations and deaths that “are appropriately coded on a death certificate,” he said, stressing “appropriately coded.”
“This is the first time I’ve seen quarantining healthy,” he continued. “I don’t know if you guys think that’s normal. I find that very strange.”
While he said it was good that the U.S. prepared for the worse, Erickson said we must be “realistic with the response.”
“Who showed up? Most of the patients that were showing up for me were very mild illness,” he said, adding that he wanted to come out and “give reality to the situation on the ground and sort of help dispel some fear that people have had.”
Erickson also addressed the mass lockdowns across the country, explaining that they were “very successful,” but in all the wrong metrics:

Conservative activist and presidential candidate Herman Cain is still in the hospital in intensive care and on oxygen therapy for 3 weeks. No word yet on whether he will recover or not. He refused to wear a mask at Trump’s rally where it is presumed he got the disease.

We quarantined the healthy because for 50+ years we allowed the communists to take over our academic institutions and in so doing conceded generations of higher education professionals to the development under Communist ideologies.
The conclusion is that we should have been building conservative colleges and not just wasting time on secuing enough judiciary roadblocks.
Liberal education should be a black list for universities.
Our biggest problem was letting students take government backed loans to be educated. That just supercharged education out of impartiality in government.

Cain “is still in the hospital being treated with oxygen for his lungs. In the meantime, the doctors say his other organs and systems are strong,” his account tweeted in a thread on Monday. “Re-strengthening the lungs is a long and slow process, and the doctors want to be thorough about it.”
I guess Herman Cain’s unfortunate enough to be in the supposed 0.2%.

Herman Cain is 74 and in 2006, Cain was given a 30% chance of survival from stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to his liver. He underwent chemotherapy and surgery to remove the cancer from his liver and was declared cancer free in 2007.
And now he has survived the dreaded killer China Virus.
1.You are assuming that those leaky, ineffective masks would have done anything to protect Cain.
2. From what I’ve read about that courageous man, he would be the last to argue that what happened to him justified what was imposed on the huge majority of people to fight this flu-like illness.

Even Rush was a wussie today...in his analysis about surveying conservatives to see if they are scared to say their opinion in public, he noted 77% of conservatives said yes. He said it in a way that pissed me off...he doesn’t seem to get that MSM controls the information...and can bankrupt someone. Example...today, I supervised a customer...she runs a funeral home, and she is older, black, well connected. Since my wife is black, and she knows my democrat mother-in-law, she assumes we are democrats...so I get paid, we part ways, and chit chat in passing, she says, “ but we so badly need a new president”...I got paid, and money is green...had I expressed my views, I could lose $, hurt my service business, and hurt my employee’s families due to lost business...I replied with an unintelligible mumble.
