Rep. Devin Nunes during a television appearance on Fox News Channel said that "we've now expanded our investigation, full-blown investigation into the Brookings Institute."
The congressman said that the two focuses of the investigation are whether Brookings, a tax exempt entity, had engaged in politics, which Nunes said that it has, and whether the institution, which receives foreign donations, took actions to benefit a foreign government.
The California Republican's remarks on "Sunday Morning Futures" came as the identity of a Steele Dossier source was recently revealed to be Igor Danchenko, who previously served as a senior research analyst with Brookings.
"Though Mr. Danchenko visited Moscow while gathering information for Mr. Steele, he lives in the United States," the New York Times noted.
"People may remember the president of Brookings back in 2016, we know that he had given the dossier to a few people, we had that through testimony," the House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member said. "You also may remember that the State Department was involved and there were additional dossiers that weren’t the Steele dossiers, except that they mirrored the Steele dossiers. And we think there is a connection between the president of Brookings and those dossiers that were given to the State Department that mirrored the Steele dossiers,” Nunes said.

In Spring of 2017, Rod Rosenstein appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller in order to seize and control all documents related to the Russia Hoax. When they didn’t find anything to use to unseat our President, they kept the sham going to continue to withhold all documents related to the hoax. In Spring of 2019, two years later, the first DOJ legally able to look at the documents got rid of Rosenstein and Mueller within a few weeks of taking office. The two men were allowed to make it look like they left on their own accord in order to thwart the planned riots.
The investigations began then since documents were finally accessible by good guys. The Covid-19 sham is being used by those involved in the hoax to refuse to fly or testify “until there’s a vaccine”. But, as courts are turning to remote proceedings and Covid-19 fakery is being exposed, they are running out of road blocks to avoid trial.

He was a Rhodes Scholar when William Jefferson “Slick Willie” Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar and those two became friends. Slick Willie when to Russia while he a Rhodes Scholar. Strobe translater Nikita Khrushchev’s memoirs from Russian into English when he was a Rhodes Scholar. There is you “Russian” connection.
Lest anyone miss the importance of your post:
1) The head of Brookings was Strobe Talbott, long term Friend of Bill Clinton, supposed Russia expert, and Clinton’s ambassador to Russia.
2) Talbott’s employees at Brooking included Fiona Hill. All she did was CONNECT STEELE TO IGOR ZEVCHENKO, the “Primary Subsource” for the Steele Dossier, who admitted to the FBI that it was all hearsay and bartalk. After helping Steele with the dossier, Hill was somehow hired to work in Trump’s NSC. Subsequently she testified against Trump in the Ukraine quid pro hoax.
3) The author of a lesser known anti-Trump dossier was Hillary hatchet thug Cody Shearer. Shearer is Strobe Talbott’s brother in law. These swine had the nerve to promote the idea that Shearer’s dossier corroborated Steele’s — knowing full well that much of the content was similar because Talbott had given Shearer a version that he modelled his own after.
Seems like the Brookings Institute is guilty of procuring and promulgating dirt from Russians to interfere in the US Presidential election. Get a rope.

Strobe Talbott was President of Brookings and he distributed the salacious and factually inaccurate dossier written by one of the senior analysts at Brookings. Talbott’s brother-in-law Cody Shearer wrote another dossier similiar to the Steele dossier. Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democrat National Committee paid for the dossier.
These radical Democrats worked for both Clinton’s and worked to get Hillary elected President. For over 4 years they peddled lies attempting to overthrow the duly elected President of the United States, President Trump.
Which foreign governments did Strobe Talbott collude with?
A couple of years ago on FR someone, whose name I can’t remember, recounted that where he lived, a murder occurred. Cops arrived before the victim died, and he ID’ed the murderer. Cops went to perp’s house and caught him washing bloody clothes.
All the facts were known - 1 criminal, 1 victim, what happend, when, and how.
It took one year to bring to trial.
The crimes committed were numerous, with a large cast of criminals, many in gov positions, also involving forgeign actiors, and several fed agencies. The numerous crimes were committed over several years, including crimes committed during 0bola’s usurpation of the presidency.
There is one chance to get these vermin. Each case has to be airtight to legally prove guilt. And they need to be finished with all the cases before indictments. Why? Becaucse these criminals were acting in concert. Big RICO stuff, has to be brought down all togehter.
And Trump had to get rid of the rot in the various fed agencies, appoint numerous federal judges, federal prosectors and then fight against Mueller b.s., then peach mint, and it goes on and on.
So no one should be suprised that results of the investigations have not yet been made public after 3 1/2 years.
Additionally, if someone searches out articles from reliable news souraces and journalists like John Solomon, for one example, they will see for themselves that there is a tremendous investigations and legal stuff going on. Durham was appointed in Oct.17. He has a history of going after crime families and has brought down several. One I read about took 5 years, to get entire mafia crime family. And that was nowhere near as complex as what he’s working on now. There are many other federal prosecutors assisting with these investigations.
BTW Durham has never lost a case.
Remove their tax exempt status - as the govt would instantly if the offender was a church! Brookings is the definition of 'the Deep State'.
Brookings once had a reputation as being left-center but fairly honest in their work products. Now it is looking more like a Soviet/Marxist hidden propaganda and spy center.
