These docs refuse to scrub their sexy bikini pics from the internet.
Doctors are sharing their finest swimsuit selfies online after a controversial new study claimed that surgeons who post these kinds of pictures are unprofessional.
The study, published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery, touched on the impact of publicly available social media content and how it could affect future patients physician choices. In order to conduct the study, the researchers, who were mostly men, created neutral i.e., undercover accounts to investigate content posted online.
They deemed photos that display alcohol, that contain inappropriate attire such as bathing suits or costumes, and posts with censored profanity or controversial opinions as potentially unprofessional content.

I had a 70 year old woman primary physician who died a couple of years ago from pancreatic cancer. You would NOT want to see her in a bikini
Smokin'...
Diabetics require rectal exams every three months...
Didn’t see anything obscene or problematic - and one who had breast cancer surgery had a sense of humor...If nobody had invented knickers, we wouldn’t have so many folks getting theirs all in a wad...
Thank you for an illuminating reply! The one posed before Munch’s “The Scream” painting is great, reminding me of what “the power of suggestion” can do.
In my case, it’s not about the skin exposed.
It’s about the lack of good judgment and narcissism on display.
Neither of which I want in a doc.
They should be even more transparent regarding their qualifications.
With one or two exceptions, I don’t see a problem with this...
yes I agree.
I recently had an appt with a new doc, and he thought everything was funny. I’d ask a question, and he’d make a joke before responding.
I told him him he was not inspiring any confidence in me regarding his abilities.
He shut up shortly after.
Now this is a post, and trend, I can get behind!
I am retired. I really don’t care what others think...and I dont put up pictures of me doing silly things either.
Its called common sense and self respect.
The “old rules” still apply.
I’ve never heard that.
I have been in diabetic meds for about ten years. Its a once a year thing at the urologist.
I am pretty sure the doc is looking for something else. Or they just like it.
The rise of American sharia...how DARE grown women flaunt on the facebook pages around in bathing suits!!!
They should be wearing BURKAS dammit.
I hear the male doctor’s group is gathering stones as we speak...
I’m gonna sound like a get-off-my-yard geezer here, but I have not yet met a young doc who impressed me. Some have even curled my hair. I’ve had a number of docs retire lately, have two more who will any day now. And I am dreading trying to find young docs with the skill and professionalism the people they’re replacing have.
Alcohol?
Skin?
Profanity?
Since WHEN is this a problem in AMERICA???
and I see we have a cadre of puritanical freepers as well....
Any of you idiots stop to wonder if ANY of these undercover self appointed DOCTOR creepers are MUSLIM???
WT the actual F
Never did twiter and my linkin account is purely professional.
If you must have a facebook account then make it private and be selective about who you friend and what you post.
I, too, am diabetic but I was only kidding...
