Why Seattle Is Likely to See More Riots and Violent Crime
PJ Media ^ | 07/26/2020 | Bryan Preston

The Seattle PD blotter for last Wednesday night reads like a month’s worth of crime, but without any bookings at the end.

At about 9:00 p.m. a group of about 150 people gathered at Cal Anderson park. The group roamed about the Capital Hill neighborhood, doing massive amounts of property damage, looting, shooting fireworks, and committing arson.

Individuals from the group broke the windows of a business in the 1400 block of East Olive Way and then started a fire inside. Seattle Fire was called to extinguish the fire.

The group then went to the 1500 Block of 11 Avenue, breaking more businesses’ windows along the way. Individuals then broke into a business, took merchandise, and put it in middle of the street where they lit it on fire.

The group went to Broadway and Madison, where individuals used baseball bats and pipes to break windows at a store. They threw fireworks into the store and then began looting.

The group headed to the area of Summit and Madison where they damaged property at two banks.

After leaving the banks, the group returned to Cal Anderson Park and then dispersed.

No arrests were made. No officers were injured.

Things are probably about to get worse. The worst of the recent urban riots tended to take place on weekends. The mayor and city council have banned several of SPD’s non-lethal crowd control methods, including the use of flash-bangs and pepper spray.

When you ban the non-lethal methods you leave only methods that are lethal for the rioters, or lethal for the police officers — or no crowd-control methods whatsoever. Non-lethal tools work — San Antonio police successfully used flash-bangs to save the Alamo from a large march a few weeks back, without injuring anyone or compromising security.

The rioters will continue until the pleasure they get from destroying things is outweighed by the repercussions they receive. As long as only a few are arrested and fewer are actually prosecuted, it will continue.

They need to be squashed with overwhelming force. The financiers and organizers also need to be taken down. The entire subversive network needs to be dismantled and it’s members punished harshly. I don’t care how high or low it goes. If we want to survive as a free nation, we need to clean out the subversives where ever they may hid.

Any rioter that has on him or her laser or gun should be shot in the spot

And the libtard idiot voters of Seattle will reelect the same leftist politicians who allow this anarchy to reign.

“The rioters will continue until the pleasure they get from destroying things......”

Pleasure - I haven’t seen anyone mention that part of it before!

I am reminded of poem by William Blake, in which he contrasts selfishness and selflessness.

To paraphrase:

Selfishness seeks only itself to please, and to bind others to its delight, it joys in the other’s loss of ease, and builds Hell in Heaven’s despite.

Selflessness seeks not itself to please nor for itself has any care, but for others gives its ease, and builds Heaven in Hell’s despair.

Seattle and Portland were beautiful cities, but Hell is being built there.

Prolly right. The only voters left after the exodus of people fleeing Seattle will be the anarchists.

I live in a suburb called Shoreline, just north of the Seattle city limits, stretching from Puget Sound to Lake Washington, and north to the Snohomish County line. It used to be a swing area, but a significant influx of minorities and immigrants in recent years, along with redefined congressional borders, has turned it solidly blue.

Pramila Jayapal is our US Rep, which speaks for itself. The mayor and city council typically imitate everything that its big brother (Seattle) does, and I noticed a BLM sign on City Hall the other day.

In the past two years, we've seen the beginnings of social degeneration - trash and homelessness, people living in old RVs and vans on the street, shopping carts left alongside the road - just as in Seattle. The future of my neighborhood is now in jeopardy, and last week two men and a dog were stabbed in broad daylight less than three blocks from my house.

The only people left in Seattle will be the mayor, the city council and the rioters and anarchists, everyone else will have left.

Seattle will allow it so long as it is contained. That should tell you something

These are not rioters. They are insurrectionists. They are not anarchists. They are organized, and receive training. They will stop when the people who fund them achieve their political goals. Which right now is to get rid of the guy threatening their free taxpayer money fountains

And have you chosen a good realtor?

Just askin’.

Years ago, when I was a financially challenged one parent family, I ran into that creeping kind of cancer where we lived twice, and we were OUT within months.

NOT virtue signaling, but just offering a way to maintain peace of mind.

I am a little shocked that they were “dispersing” later in the night. Does that tell us that these cretins mostly live locally?

If so, then they REALLY SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE TO ENJOY THE DESTRUCTION.

Save the federal possessions and get the he!! out of that he!!.

If these scum dare to go over their sh*thole boundaries, they are going to start to get killed by citizens protecting life and property.

People who will vote for politicians who openly hate their country will happily vote for ones who openly hate their city. And have. The Seattle city council isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

I also live in Shoreline and it is true that Shoreline always copies Seattle. A few weeks ago the neighborhood actually had a small BLM march which was all whites with their spawn.

I’ve lived here since 82 and it is difficult to move and give up my clients but eventually I will go to somewhere east of the mountains. Maybe someday we can actually split the state along with Eastern Oregon to escape the coastal hooligans.

Going with that is when they smash all they can and loot what they will, they will then turn on people - we are seeing the first actions now.

It will get far worse, unless they are decidedly put down with extreme prejudice.
