I wonder if Morning Joek will celebrate his late secretary’s birthday?

We should also give quiet thanks to Ms. Kopechne that her ultimate sacrifice kept a traitorous, selfish and destructive Ted Kennedy from inflicting himself on the entire nation as President.

I remember Ted’s election campaign against sitting president Jimmah Cahtah.
Ted was in Iowa, speaking to a group of farmers at a grain elevator south of Des Moines.
He looked out on the railroad tracks and asked, rhetorically, “How’s the service out here on the Wabash ?”
The farm folks were puzzled...it had been more than 100 years since the Wabash served Iowa...

What is it the Democrats called that slug Ted? The Lion of the Senate?

Mary Jo died for her (our) country in keeping Ted out of the White House.

I wonder how much better off this country would be if all elected officials were required to be subjected to random urinalysis and breathalyzer tests and the results made part of the public record. Kennedy would have been the poster child for such a policy. Then again, it might not make any difference.
I remember in the '92 campaign when word came out that Clinton had smoked weed during his college years. Back then, that was a big deal, and I thought he was sunk. I was personally insulted when he sold the line, "I smoked but didn't inhale." I assumed most Americans would see this for the lie it was and his assault on the intellect of any thinking person. Of course I was wrong, and it turned out people either were stupid, or comfortable with their politicians treating them like they were.

There is massive flooding in China with Youtube videos of innumerable flooded vehicles. Strangely believe it, there are also frequent videos of floating cars. Some are slowly drifting and others caught up in a rapid torrent and moving swiftly down the river

The Senior Senator from Chappaquiddick, fully equipped with a neck brace and surrounded by an army of lawyers, appeared in court and was given some kind of 30 day suspended sentence (on a misdemeanor) and had his license suspended for either 90 days or 6 months (can't recall which).
During the license suspension period he was *caught* driving twice (meaning he never stopped driving) and nothing happened to him.
And yet voters of the Gay State sent him to the Senate...time and time again...where he,along with Sheets Byrd, was labeled "The Conscience of the Senate".

Massachusucks has really come up with some left wing wonders. Kennedy of course. But currently we have our Vietnam hero, John Kerry and then our woman of color, Liawatha.
I have absolutely no use for our arrogant norther eastern libtards.

If you go down the path about 10 yards from JFKs grave you will see a small plaque next to the path that is Teddy’s grave marker. I found it by accident. What a fitting end to the “Lying Lion of the Senate”.

Mary Jo, happy birthday. Even though you were murdered, you helped keep Teddy away from the White House!
