Its kind of amazing that reporters arent digging into exactly how much the WP and CNN paid to make the Covington Catholic Nicholas Sandmanns suit go away. The fact they settled is tacit acknowledgement that their coverage was biased and wrong.

Sorry, I posted before getting thru all the comments.
Tnx., been informed.
Did you forget that Lin Wood is his primary lawyer?
Wood won {and was paid $500K by NBC} for the false story about the atlanta bomber back in the 90s. He also got money from cnn, ny post, wsj and the college where he worked.
That is because the main stream, leftist media, who are all democrats, are the enemy of the people.

I think that's an indication that it didn't go away for peanuts, but rather it was a pretty substantial sum.
If it were just pennies on the dollar Leftists would be crowing about it, claiming it was simply a shakedown, rather that an tacit admission of guilt.
My guess was more of the minimum I would settle for. A cool million would buy some nice bottom land in Kentucky. You start talking 20 million and I am buying the castle out in Billings Montana.
If you buy the Castle in Billings you’ll need to win another settlement to pay the utilities and maintenance.
I suspect the press wants this story to go away. It’s not - two down - six to go.
800 million?
Nick Sandman's attorney reveals lawsuit against CNN
The beginning of the clip deals with the case against WAPO. Wood near the end of the clip states that Nick Sandman was collateral damage, that from the outset the real attack was against president Trump, Sandman just happened to be wearing the red MAGA cap.
Wood is not just pursuing this for the fees IMO.
And for those wondering what the undisclosed settlement might amount to, Wood was asking for $50 mil in damage to Sandman and $200 mil punitive damages both against WAPO & CNN
The list price is only $13 million ish.
It’s only amazing if you don’t acknowledge that the mainstream media is the public relations branch of the Democrat party.
“The journalcRATS want this to go quietly under the rug.”
Nary a word on this for NPR.
$13 millionish is good. Besides, it’s 2 down and 6 to go...
