I would like to think that the student may not have been in agreement with Mike Adams at first. I would like to think perhaps he influenced her and many other hundreds of students like her to think for themselves, and to think morally and conservatively.

I’m sure he probably did influence many.

But the article doesn’t suggest that the student was not in agreement with him; on the contrary, it seems to indicate that she took his part against the original emailer - and that is why she and her email were involved in the Campus police investigation.
