lawyerly words of persuasion are ok. he has a winning hand
Hello. George Walker Bush. How's retirement treating you?
Haha you beat me to it. While I thought 43 was great on 9/11 and the Iraq War Troop Surge, he was a *ussy when it came to dealing with media.
I hope he zapped the bastards for millions, but well probably never know.
For certain the lawyers of all parties get nice paychecks.
Several thousand individual suits by conservatives would be a better tactic.
For one thing, it would take a lot longer and get lots of people lots of money (besides the lawyers) . And besides, why would you want to portray the optics of defending white-RATs in the legal action?
It seems like that Jack Dorsey has been around forever. About time someone goes after him.
.
a twitter settlement on the order of WaPo’s and CNN’s could SEVERELY affect twitter’s extremely weak bottom line ...
“Not the time to be arrogant, in my view.”
really? “arrogant”? like Sidney Powell and Michael Flynn celebrating their victories? was that “arrogant” too? or President Trump tweeting every time he won a major victory at SCOTUS? were those tweets “arrogant”?
“The other Big Media outlets are getting worried.”
they should be ... when the two biggest plaintiffs cave, the handwriting on the wall should be quite evident to the rest ... namely, they’re screwed and better settle in a hurry because the first to settle always get the better deal, whereas the price always goes up for the recalcitrant ...
Once he owns twitter can conservatives start posting again ?
I wish the media would defame me, I could use that kind of cheddar.
Go get ‘em kid.
"Aren't you from the newspaper that just paid out millions for lying?"
Seriously doubt tweets coming a year after the initial complaint will be allowed before the jury.
Is the media going to claim they time traveled and knew about the future tweets as a mitigating circumstance to their shoddy, unprofessional and malevolent reporting?
Also have no doubt he got legal counsel approval first. They are simply leveraging publicity toward a future settlement.
