A group of Washington state teens sprung into action Saturday and saved a King County deputy who was allegedly being choked by a DUI suspect, police said Tuesday.
A female officer, who was referred to as Deputy Eliot, was reportedly off-duty when she came upon a multi-vehicle car wreck, The King County Sheriffs Office said in a Facebook post.
Eliot confronted an inebriated suspect who allegedly caused the pile-up, and the person began struggling with the deputy and placed her in a chokehold, the sheriffs office said in the social media post.
Get off of her! yelled five young men who jumped on the suspect and pried the him off Eliot, the post said. The good men then restrained the alleged aggressor, as Eliot collected herself and cuffed him, according to the post.

Was in Israel going through a base guard point. Among the crew were these two extremely scorching hot 18-20 year-old women. Now they were properly carrying M16’s with several additional clips attached, and looked like the really knew how to use them.
All they got out of me was “Yes, Ma’am”
Apparently you dont understand; an anecdote is not truth.
It is certainly a possible contributor to the initial success of the perp. To state otherwise is to deny human physiology.
Apparently, you don’t understand. In this case, it was. Read the article? You said tyranny of the anecdote, which is actually pretty good, however, in this case, the story is true.
Anecdotes can be true, but they arent the truth.
...in this case, the story is true.

Nice. I guess you didnt read the comments in the article you posted though:
From the FBI (6:25 PM CDT/26 May); Excerpt;
“The heroic actions of the Master-at-Arms Petty Officer 2nd Class who risked her life and did not hesitate to engage the subject, as well as the actions of the Navy Security Forces, likely stopped what could have been a much more deadly attack.”
“Last Thursday, just after six in the morning when investigators say Alsahli drove up to the north gate, pulled out a handgun and opened fire at a Navy Guard. Fortunately, that guard was wearing a bullet resistant vest and it wound up saving her life. She was able to activate the security barriers preventing the shooter from getting onto the base. Then she and other security guards opened fire, killing Alsahli.”
True. But in this case, it was. Anecdote or not.
The story at your link was bunk.
Hopefully you learned something
I doubt it though.
