Monday marks day 54 of protests in Louisville, following the shooting death of Breonna Taylor. One group is taking that protest further with a hunger strike.
They began their strike on a Facebook Live today at noon.
The people who have been out protesting decided they needed to do more. The participants say they want to re-energize the protests but amplify that theyre hungry for justice.
For the past several weeks, around Louisville weve all heard these protesters voices. As of Monday, they want us to hear their hunger. Theres only one thing that they say will satisfy them.
We just want justice; however that is going to look and whatever the outcome, Amira Bryant said. Bryant is one of the four people who have volunteered to go on the hunger strike.

Promise? You’re a Republican if you don’t...

Hoping Pres Trump says at his next press conference oxygen is good for you. Then BLM and anQUEEFa declares oxygen is racist and go on a breathing strike. May not be a bad idea, it could “thin the herd” and “improve the breed”.
Someone does need to tip CNN and get Don Lemon on this story. There is going to be a lot of bawling, if these people starve themselves to death, might even put them on the same level as George Floyd.
Bobby Sands MP
An IRA terrorist.
Not much good to say about that.
That said, I respect his hunger strike.
I had read a copy of the letters he had written and remember how the guards would bring special food to entice him.
An escalation of commitment to failure? Tragic.
Good. Hope it takes a long time. Excellent way to say goodbye.
I would call their bluff. It is no skin off my ass if they starve. They are going to anyway when they get the Government they are working for[ Cortez’s Green Plan].]Might as well get a early start.
They could go without eating for a year and you could not tell the difference. 10 years a rib may start showing.
24 hours divided by 4 participants equals 6 hours of starvation and 18 hours of eating.
EACH.
No joke, that’s how recent ‘hunger strikes’ have been arranged.
Rush uncovered that.
Is that a promise?
It is not working with me. They are three times 7 or is it 3 times 6 now?
Sounds like a win-win for America.
Such things should be enforced.
Make the claim going for fame? Then you do the deed or else.
If you’re not willing to die miserable for the cause, sthu and sit down.
I remember how Jesse Jackson participated in such tag-team hunger strikes back in the ‘90s. Absolutely ridiculous.
Get’er done.
So much for a full investigation to determine if any laws or policies were broken. It's street justice, like you see in a 3rd world country, they want where a angry mob rules not law and order.
Yes, I think they do not grasp the fundamentals of ‘threat.’
We now have mob rule. It applies in the court room. It applies outside the Court room. Might as well get used to it. It is Country music and Rock and Roll it is here to stay.
Looks like it’s going to take awhile for any of them to start starving.
