Trump again at 49% approval rating. I post mainly though for the fact that his disapproval rating is below 50% for the first time since May 8th. Imshudder to think that this has anything to do with him putting on a mask. His disapproval is down 6% in the last week. Approval Index is at -7% today

The mask statement is smart. He has to be a politician to the finish line. The soccer moms want this.

Polls are meaningless. People like me in small Republican-state towns aren’t polled.

"The soccer moms want this."

We have been listening to the "soccer moms" FAR, FAR too long. Our matriarchal society is going to destroy itself.

I take no stock in polls

I was witness to Biden’s first rise to the Senate. A Pennsylvanian who ran for office in Delaware. I figured he couldn’t make it in his own state, so he had to phook up some place else.

I vote TRUMP.

Yes but it hurts him with those of us who expect him to stand-up for our basic freedoms. Not all of the dissatisfaction with his handling of COVID that was turning up in polls was coming from suburban Karens demanding more masking.

His new approach to press briefings is a winner, and you can bet — without a doubt — it was focus-grouped. Watch his numbers rise.

Just wondering. We do not have a landline, just our cellphones. Do they poll on cellphones? We also use a spam filter, so there are many calls we don’t take from unknown numbers.

I do not believe anyone that voted for President Trump last time will vote for Sleepy Joe. I can think that a lot of people effected by the riots will vote for Trump, many that had voted for Hillary.

These numbers are hiding a real important point. The poll describes “likely US voters.” That term is incongruous. The only way they can start to figure anything in that direction is registered voters, which is the only thing they can actually get upon request, not how they vote. And the numbers they are using is based upon an inconsistent guess due to their local discomforts.

At the moment, there are a lot of liberal states that are totally pi$$ed about this shut in and have already displayed their dispirited feelings with, in some cases, outright rebellion. When libs get pushed, even by their counterparts, their voting totals go down as they won’t even support their own. They won’t vote at all. Low numbers are the libs’ worst fear. Another reason why during the campaign it would be in Trump’s best interest to put the blame for the deaths and discomfort of the voters on the right people...liberals and their misrepresentation of their authority and lack of care about their populous by threatening to take out their only form of protection from themselves, law enforcement.

I really haven’t watched them other than hearing about the press moaning that he’s using them as campaign rallies. What has he done differently?

He has complete command of event.

He is the only speaker present.

He sticks to the script.

He answers a question succinctly and without squabbling with the Democrat activist media members, then immediately moves on to the next questioner, not allowing a follow-up.

All in all, very Presidential.

You’re only going to destroy it if you’re in power. Stay outside of power it will eventually destroy you.

I think just like Hillary before him, Biden is a paper tiger. He as not charismatic, he is not a good public speaker, he has no agenda or policy proposal that resonates with voters. Heck he doesn't even have a campaign slogan like “Hope and Change” or “Build the Wall”. Biden does good in the polls when nobody is paying attention to him, but as the election gets and people start actually saying “Do I want this man in the Oval Office?” he will fold like a cheap deck of cards. In fact I think Hillary was actually a far better candidate than Biden, she had tons of money, a pretty solid organization and could actually string two sentences together without making a gaffe, and she still lost to Trump.

Elections are a political process so there has to be some political maneuvering. We’re not enough of a majority to dictate anything. That’s the reality?

We have to listen to them. They hold the key to Trump’s re-election. If Trump loses the white women vote to Biden in November (like he is now, in July polls), then Trump will lose the EC. He won this constituency against Hillary, and he needs to listen to it carefully.
