Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-155 on Wednesday, which cut $115.07 million from the Michigan State Police budget.
Talk radio host Steve Gruber reported Whitmer ordered the cut, along with others, including $392.67 million being slashed from the Department of Corrections and $36.46 million from the Department of Health and Human Services.
The cut to the State Police equals roughly one-quarter of the agency’s funding, according to Gruber.

NYS’s passed a bill telling Cuomo he could do anything he wanted, fine by them.
MI House and Senate are strangely quiet, almost as if they want this to happen. There’s no longer an emergency in MI, since the death rate is insignificant. Are they going to let her just declare an emergency and govern by fiat from now on?
I do not know...it is weird. Does the legislature think we all AGREE with her and her power grab?
What are they waiting for? More money? The more Covid, the more Fed $$$. Are they waiting for a piece of that pie? Or are they afraid that if they counter her she will call in the antifa and BLM types?
