As someone that has done some genealogical research I can say without fear of contradiction that many official documents contain typos, and errors, even death certificates.

I know what you mean ... my stepdaughter needed the death certificate of her natural father for something required by her college and, when we received it, the last digit of the social security number on his death certificate didn't match the last digit of the social security number on all of his military records. We eventually had to go to the Social Security Office to figure out what was the correct number.

Thanks for posting that! Very funny movie.

Aniston is good. I really think she was probably the best actor/tress of the bunch in Friends, although they were all good.

“No regrets. Not even a single letter?” says Jason. LOL!

Thanks again!

Julie

“I wonder if this only happened because a government office is closed due to COVID-19 and is sending scanned copies of many types of documents instead of originals.”

That makes sense. Although the typo is still there. But other FReepers have pointed out here that typos are not uncommon, even in official documents, apparently.

Oh yes! and Hutchison, something or other; from that one group. Can’t remember the name.

You’re right. I’d forgotten about that manner. Weird how being close to death is supposed to increase the intensity of an orgasm.

Not willing to find out. Anyway, it’s been so long between my husband and me, I’ve kind of forgotten what the regular old kind feels like. LOL! (insert sad frowny face)

Last I heard, there were 26.

However, that is probably racist in some way. Perhaps white people came up with the alphabet we currently use; we should have stuck with the hieroglyphics. Isn’t that Egyptian? And isn’t Egypt populated by people “of color?”

There you go. Problem solved. Let’s get our best historians and archaeologists on this very pressing problem and translate everything, and I mean everything, including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Magna Carta, etc., into hieroglyphics.

Only then will we have rid ourselves of racism, at least in this particular area. However, there is a multitude of areas and ways in which white people have traumatized black people and all must be addressed as soon as humanly possible.

Right. I was simply pointing out that some characteristics like texture, color, etc. that might have been obvious with the original document would not have been picked up when someone was dealing with a scanned version.

As far as I can see all nations of the earth are populated by people of color. Not a single one is populated by transparent people.

LOL!

I am kind of pink but lately have become a bit off-white, egg white, nearly beige! ;)

“The public defender was duped too.”

Wow. We should come up with a new name, like Covistress, for situations like this. It’s a new malady that will soon make its way into the next DSM. I’m actually kind of serious.

This crisis is going to lead to all kinds of new t.v. shows, movies, changes in psychiatry, medicine, law, the list goes on.

People are making mistakes, worrying about getting home to home-school their kids, worrying about going shopping. In fact, my husband took me to Walmart, something he would ordinarily never do (he’s happy to stay home), because I needed new shoes. I actually came home and started to worry about possibly catching this.

And I’m a mask-averse person who thinks the problem, while quite serious, is perhaps a tad overblown by the media, just to hurt Trump.

The thing is turning everyone into neurotic loners, kind of like Howard Hughes.

My mom and I were talking about this the other day.

She said that there is a Spirit of Fear that is covering the world. It is not the virus but Fear.

And fear leads to your mind becoming unsettled and then unstable. The more you let the fear imprison you the more unstable you become.

Your mother sounds very wise.

Have you read anything by Tom Brown?

She sounds like Grandfather.

Seriously I went to his class in New Jersey. Please read something of his. Your mom sounds just like Grandfather. As I already said. LOL!

Thank you. You’re right, of course.

I’m having trouble getting my absentee ballot from Colorado; Covid problems, of course.

Now the DMV has an even better excuse! LOL!

The guy who wrote "Tom Brown's Guide To Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants"?

Well, she is a grandmother so that may account for it.:)
