Surgeon General Jerome Adams begged Fox News' audience on Monday to wear face masks to help contain the spread of the coronavirus and to avoid thinking of the health measure as a violation of their rights.
Adams stressed that President Donald Trump has recently said he supports mask-wearing, despite his refusal to implement a federal mask mandate.
"I'm pleading with your viewers, I'm begging you, please understand that we are not trying to take away your freedoms when we say wear a face covering," Adams said during a "Fox and Friends" interview.
He went on, "We are not trying to take away your ability to go out when we say keep restaurant capacity under 50%. We are saying if we do these things, we can actually open and stay open. We can get back to school, to worship, to jobs. We can do this."

I also noticed an odd reaction when I saw the photo of surgeon general. Previously I had no thought about a government executive’s skin color or ethnicity. Well, maybe Chinese. But when I saw this guy’s photo, my immediate involuntary reaction was to identify him with BLM and consider anything he says as having the potential of being false to advance a racial agenda. Why is that? It’s because of what the blacks, leftists, and media have done. They are CREATING racism by their false accusations of racism.
I am hugely enthused with Trump (unlike any other leader in my lifetime)
But I differ with him, on the importance of facemasks.
Maybe it is an east/west thing.

I have only worn one when forced to at work. Never wear one anywhere else until recently, when the government started the hard push to take away our freedoms. Even then, I pull it down so I can breathe as soon as I walk through the doors and take it off as I am walking out.
Guess what? No coronavirus, either.
At work, they decided that we need to wear a shield with the mask or goggle things with your glasses. Evidently, health care doesn’t trust that masks are enough.
Now what do you say?

‘experts’ are saying many things; things that conflict with each other...which is why we have contentions like these on social media...
so answer my question; if I show up at a store, and have a mask covering only my mouth, and I turn a corner and run into you, with your face shield and covering, are you going to rat me out to the store manager...? because this is how hard feelings are generated, how friendships and just common civility disappears...
IF thyey worked, I’d wear one 24 hours a day, but they dont. Says so right on the box.
