President Trump on Monday said he will resume giving regular coronavirus briefings this week, reviving a practice that is controversial among some aides as infections surge across the United States.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office he would deliver a briefing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. It would mark his first time participating in a coronavirus briefing since late April.

He should not the thousands of counties across the country that have hardly any impact and if it weren't for Cuomo and Dem Governors killing tens of thousands in nursing homes the total number of deaths would be well under 100,000, slight more than a bad flu year. I’m kind of surprised that he stopped them. These were the closest things he had to political rallies for a long while!
For the president’s consideration, he might wish to not be looking down at his notes while talking, just talk the facts including what his role is compared to the governors roles, get support from the doctors and his economic advisors and not get into fights with the press. And he might wish to keep the press briefing short.

Whenever Trump speaks about Covid, he has this deer in the headlights look to me. If he’s going to have these briefings just to praise Fauci and Birx to the hilt, he should just pass. Im no fan of these covid presses where he talks nonstop about respirators.
I would love to see him bring in true professionals who can prove this is not as deadly as the Fake New’s is trying to spin it.

Yup. Those briefings were a circus. In retrospect, even more so since all the reports and numbers they were throwing around were (and still are) all BS.
