Joe Giaduce hit from Sicily?
I find the Epstein very tenuous. It would not be the first or even the 5th lead I would follow.
Here’s the NYT article, via MSN, on the same topic. Nothing new.
Criminal defendants are the most likely source of plots against a judge and the judge’s family, with domestic cases a secondary source. At least that was my experience when I was in my teens and my father was a circuit judge and he and my family were warned by law enforcement that we were considered specific targets. And honest judges are the most likely targets for murder and family kidnappings or blackmail efforts because, if a judge is dishonest, it is easier and cheaper to just intimidate or buy them off.
The 2016 Democrat nominee. That looked like the most apt description of her.
Thanks for the tips. Ill look into that today.

Her Heinous...
“Has a Federal Judge been assassinated since actor Woody Harrelsons dad killed that one in San Antonio?”
Scalia.
Good advice.
Good advice.
Per this link, only four have been murdered.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_federal_judges_killed_in_office
John H. Wood Jr. - Contract Killing by Wooody Harrelson’s dad, ordered by a Drug Dealer who hated the judge for his sentences,
Richard J. Daronco - Murdered by the father of a woman who lost a harrassment case in his court.
Robert Smith Vance - Killed by mail bomb from another unhappy plaintiff
John Roll - Stopped by Gabby Giffords shopping center meet and greet to discuss court case loads and got shot as part of that shooting
This was a planned hit.
People who put this much planning into a killing, make sure they hit the target. Thus, the son was the target.
If the father had been the target, the shooter would have waited (and continued to play the role of a FedEx delivery guy) until the father was in a can’t miss position.
The only other logical explanation is that ANY family member was the target, so they shot they first one available. That would mean it was an attempt to intimidate the judge.
You got it.
No, but it was very professional.
Good question, but the shooter may indeed have finished the job.
We aren't told whether there was entry or, if so, for how long the shooter may have been searching in the house.
If either of the parents were the target, a pro might well have told the son he needed the signature of a parent. If there is no entry, then it would appear either a significant "warning" to either Mr. or Mrs. that did not harm them but keeps them in play, or the actual target, the son, was hit.
Knowing the location of the son's body and where Mr. was wounded will be helpful. Whatever vehicle was used may provide valuable information via cameras in the general locale.
As I read the article. Mr opened the door and was shot and sidestepped. The son then made an appearance and was killed.
We are not actually aware of where the son was at the time of his father’s being shot. We also do not know why the killer did not hunt the mother/judge and kill her if she was the target.
Since she is alive and unharmed, I would think the job may have been botched and the fee is thus not collectable. Or, the son was the target all along and the service was rendered and the fee can be collected.
Question? Would you hire an amatuer hitman to kill a federal judge?
Yes, this was my first thought...that the judge was being intimidated...
Wouldn't be a surprise if there are different public reports on this.
From the article:
"Sources told ABC News that the judges son, a student at Catholic University in Washington, DC, answered the door and was immediately struck."
Good point for homeowner's to consider.
In fact, a carefully carried clipboard alone can conceal a small handgun. There was a time in CA that CHP, perhaps in violation of policy and almost certainly depending on the neighborhood, would approach vehicles with clipboards at the ready.
Suicide Hotline how can I help you
Hillary Clinton: I would like to place an order
This was a HIT..perhaps the son opened the door, otherwise the judge would be the one 6 feet under right now
