Good point. By all accounts, Vermont is one of the most heavily armed states in the U.S. — with some of the least restrictive gun laws. And look at the Marxist jackasses they regularly elect up there.

One big difference here, though, is that the first-time gun buyers mentioned in this piece are doing it out of FEAR — fear of the mutants and misfits who are unmistakably Democrats.
