Yes, it could harm you. If you push that popsicle stick up your sinus cavity too far, or with too much pressure, you may puncture the mucous membrane and produce a nice Nose Bleed to fiddle with.
I don’t think it harms you, but it’s very uncomfortable. It may be hard to do it to yourself.
