Dr. Vladimir "Zev" Zelenko, who has gained national attention recently for his treatment of COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine and zinc, offered an update on his health situation and thanked supporters.
Recently a mass was found in his pulmonary artery attached to his pulmonic heart valve, requiring surgery to remove, he said in a video from his hospital bed.
Zelenko added: "Regarding COVID, we're winning, thank G-d; some countries in Central America believe it or not are making hydroxychloroquine over-the-counter, and the truth is it's really unstoppable at this point, it's just a function of time."
"Unfortunately time means lives lost, so it is up to us to spread the truth that there is a solution to this terrible problem."

Vitamin d is usually very low to the point that I was given 50,000 mg pills once a week for a while. I work evenings into overnight. I am not a day person never was. That could be the cause
I sure hope he has doctors he can trust with his life.
Dr Z recommends Quercetin for those who may not have access to HCQ.
It’s a natural flavonoid, that’s been around for years, in supplement form.
It does the same thing, for zinc, that HCQ does, per Dr Z.
Hcq causes a prolongation off the QT interval putting one at risk for arrhythmias but does not cause ischemia
= = =
In an interview w/Dr Z, hosted by Dr Drew Pinsky, they both agreed that the QT prolongation, in the HCQ trials, were in (IIRC) less than 1% of patients...and, (IIRC) these particular patients had underlying conditions (AIDS being one).
It may even have been that % outside of the trial, just w/HCQ, in general. I’d have to re-listen to the interview.
What about Quinine? Could it be used in place of Quercetin?
Be sure to purchase quercetin combined with bromelain, or separately, for better absorption.
Maybe significantly Qtc prolongation is rare but it is a known side effect and anyone with a baseline long QT or on other drugs that also prolong the QT need to be careful. However I was answering the person stating it causes ischemia. It does not
CNN fools, HCQ does not cause masses!
Again be careful. quinine puts you at risk for arrhythmias by itself let alone combined wit other agents
not sure why you posted that to me
Prayers for a safe and successful surgery, and for a quick and full recovery Dr. Z!!
Well, you made the point about elongated QT intervals, and above someone mentioned that CNN had speculated that the mass may have had an HCQ origin. Idiocy!
Oh, I wish him the best with prayers but, going to the hospital under these circumstances is a bit more risky
Likely the result of zinc deprivation. MANY of the trials were intentionally sandbagged by lack of the zinc supplementation, and by delaying treatment.
Prayers fr the good doctor.
That the drug “caused it” is exactly what they’ll say.
Prayers to Dr. Zelensky for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!
Many of the studies were crapola. As you said, many of them were studied on people who were already so sick they were admitted to the ICU. Or they didn’t get the complete regimen. Another study mixed CQ and HCQ arms together. The VA study was a retrospective study of Covid positive patients who passed away; but without any real controls or data on the subjects or why they were in the hospital to begin with or whether they caught covid in the hospital. And because Trump attacked and withdrew funds to the WHO, the WHO retaliated by cancelling its trials. NONE OF THIS IS SCIENCE! It is politics.
IANAD, but imo Dr. Zelensky and others showed that it should be given as early as possible after diagnoses for those at risk or onset of first symptoms if they don’t have underlying conditions... just like any disease the sooner you treat it the greater the likelihood of a positive outcome.
Sorry, Dr. Zelekno. Not Zelenksy.
Dr. Z has only one lung, one reason he tried so hard to find a good treatment. We all owe him a great debt. Fortunately he is in an Israeli hospital. Hopefully the agents of big pharma would have less access there. The effort to discredit HCQ by failing to use zinc at the same time is strong and international. Here is an article that does just that. However, many of the 400+ comments are pro zinc, intelligent, and also include potentially interesting links. By all means read and post some of those links. My spare time is being spent trying to spread the word where it may do some good,
