Kentucky resident Elizabeth Linscott was planning to visit her mother in Michigan. Despite having no symptoms of the Wuhan coronavirus, Linscott decided to get tested out of an abundance of caution. Her results turned up positive and she was told to self-quarantine at home.
My grandparents wanted to see me, too, Linscott told WILX-TV. So, just to make sure if I tested negative, that they would be OK, that everything would be fine.
Once the health department alerted her to her positive test results, they wanted Linscott to sign the Self-isolation and Controlled Movement Agreed Order, a document stating she would not leave her house without first asking the health district for permission. She refused to sign the documents.

Kentucky no less
There are many sheeple...weak people who fear much.
Leftist statists have their tentacles extending into every state. No exceptions.
no we knew socialiats and commies are like this
what’s,surreal is how many so called conservatives and patriots support the totalitarianism.
The Bolshevik left whcih threads our civil service in every state loves this totalitarian approach.
They know whats best for you, and the Constitution, due process, and privacy mean nothing at all. Say goodbye to liberty.
She made all the right decisions imo. I wouldnt have signed it either.
Absolutely. Its horrific that even in my conservative side of town in a conservative state, I am now treated as a pariah because I refuse to wear a mask. If Im even allowed in, Im stared at and muttered about.
Too many refuse to believe that but I agree
Voluntarily testing “just because” is the crack they use to drive in the wedge to control you.
I won’t get tested unless I absolutely have to.
“whats, surreal is how many so called conservatives and patriots support the totalitarianism.”
Not me. It’s time.
Sure she has the “right” to go out and infect a lot of other people. Maybe will kill her mother too. He rights are more important than the rights of others who try to stay safe. Why do others think they have that right?
I guess NYC did it right then. Putting those people in nursing homes where they had a right to spread this crap around.
So sad that common sense has died.
So I wonder what they would have done if she had simply refused to wear the ankle bracelet? Lock her up in the county Jail where she would infect the other prisoners and courthouse staff?
Unfortunately we Kentuckians find ourselves in a Red state with a very Blue governor. The republican dominated legislature needs to fix the unconstitutional statute that gives unlimited “emergency” powers to the governor ASAP when they convene next year. That is, if the governor hasn’t managed to completely destroyed the state before then.
I wont get tested unless I absolutely have to.
At this point nothing surprises me. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the next shoe to drop is making testing mandatory and slapping the ankle bracelet on you if you refuse. Then require you to carry your "papers" to prove you tested negative to buy groceries or go to work.
This country has gone from a free nation to Soviet Russia in months....
No symptoms, no need for a test. First mistake.
Wow. Unbelievable.
I just looked up the 2016 Kentucky election. It was a staggering victory for president Trump. How does a state that votes that overwhelmingly for Republican end up with a Democrat Governor? I can see a house representative here or there or mayor. But everyone gets to vote for governor.
“Although she refused to sign the agreement, she said her and her husband never refused to self-quarantine. “
