Michael Avenatti is broke and cant pay his legal fees, the California attorney who has represented the discredited lawyer for more than a year claims.
Dean Steward filed a motion in federal court Saturday detailing Avenattis financial woes and is now asking for taxpayer help to cover his costs.
. . .
The disgraced lawyer faces three-dozen counts of fraud, tax evasion and other alleged crimes. He was convicted in February of trying to extort millions of dollars from Nike and is also accused of bilking money from Stormy Daniels, his most famous client.
Avenatti has yet to be sentenced in the Nike case and is awaiting trial in the other two.

I think you had to know there was something very wrong in the way this guy appeared in the press (unbelievable frequency and intensity, stuff about him becoming a candidate for President, etc. etc. etc.) No lawyer would want to take that tack, unless... And it became apparent that he was in deep financial trouble when he emerged with Stormy Daniels and I suppose he thought that either the publicity or some settlement (and his contingent share of that) was going to get him out of the financial jam he was in. Dunno. I am a lawyer, practicing for the last 26 years, and nothing surprises me in the legal profession. Every time I turn around there is some new example of someone taking the reputation of the profession even lower. On that count alone, Avenatti deserves the firing squad.

He was in jail for a little while. They let him out for the ChiCom virus. Of course they were going to lock up Roger Stone.

The hot and bothered bimbos of MSNBC should raise money for their former dreamboat - it's the least they could do for Avenatti... Mika Joe and they sycophants - how 'bout it?

The taxpayer should not be on the hook for funding Creepy Porn Lawyer’s legal defense.
If he hadn’t been such a d-bag, he wouldn’t need the legal defense.
Just. Say. No.
