Agitators promoting Black Lives Matter blocked a major intersection in Lansing, Michigan, on Friday evening and pointed guns at a motorcyclist who tried to pass through.
A group of about 30 protesters blocked Michigan Avenue, a thoroughfare between Lansing and East Lansing. They stopped at the intersection of Michigan and Foster St. and sat down in the road.
In an incident first published on SteveGruber.com, protesters who are open carrying long guns not only confront, but point their guns at a motorcyclist who appeared to approach slowly, seeking to pass through the intersection.
The man attempted to pass while one agitator pointed a gun at him from only feet away. At one point, he could be heard removing the safety.
The protest organizer, identified by Gruber as Paul Birdsong, spoke to him through a bull horn.
Cant ride anywhere in this direction, Birdsong told him.
Police could be seen less than half a block away and did nothing to ensure the citizens safety.

Yup. This is why if someone says police should confiscate guns I say, “Yeah, sure - only if they start in the hood”. Even the cops avoid gangster turf.
How long do they expect the law abiding to put up with blatant criminal behavior that endangers them?
There just protesters
Mostly peaceful protestors
I don’t know the laws in Michigan but it seems they allow open carry of some form or another. Here in CA nearly all forms of carry are illegal without a (very rare, depending on your county sheriff) permit.
But carrying is entirely different from pointing a weapon at somebody. I don’t need to explain to the users of this website about weapons handling; but never point one unless you are willing to fire. Hence, it is assault. Police should have arrested those who pointed weapons.
As long as they have the advantage they are really brave but I’ll bet when the bullets start really flying they will be back hiding in their mommy’s basement.
No guns were pointed, never even got out of the truck. Just practicing my First Amendment right. I was trying to follow the rules even if they were stupid.
Now... I don't care any more.
Any police given political standown orders need to start defying all such orders. If the political leadership insists , something needs to start happening to them personally . Time to weed our garden
Odd. Incidents like these aren’t mentioned in all the promos for shows on PBS promoting BLM...
This happened in Lansing.
Lansing, the capitol of Michigan, is run by Democrat Uber-tyrant, Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Police stood down because Whitmer's Democrats control them.
There will be no arrests of antifa in Lansing.
We are on our own and need to form militias.
As soon as terrorists pointed a firearm at an innocent person, someone should have solved that problem - at 3200 fps.
Ah, the infamous “Michigan Militias”. LOL.
Game on, if theyre armed.
As long as this is still recent, the cyclist can still lodge a complaint with internal affairs, pointing out that he is the victim of a felony, and about the lack of enforcement. He can also lodge a complaint with the DOJ. And maybe he can hire an attorney and sue the Department and the guy who pointed a gun at him. I know, I know, nothing will be done. But make them at least acknowledge the incident.
I cannot say here exactly what needs to be done....however....
1/4 mile (440 yd) is still within open sight range.
Point a weapon at me while going about my peaceful way takes this to another level.
Someone points a weapon at me, I will be in fear of my life and will take appropriate actions as defined by the law of self defense.
These will happen all over the country. Nothing the Antifa/Soros/Alinsky/Dem/BLM does is spontaneous or unplanned in any way.
I pray that God will protect us against these demonic forces.
