They switched to unmarked cars because anything labeled “police” gets attacked. They removed personal IDs to prevent doxing.
But the uniforms all have clear identifying labels on the chest and armbands. Some say “POLICE.” Some say “Police, Department of Homeland Security.”
And having said that, undercover police have been making arrests forever. So there’s no rule they must have marked cars or even uniforms.
If they are dressed in camouflage then they surely are not “secret police” because they are the only ones wearing camouflage.
