The Left will do everything in its power to ensure that Biden doesn’t have to get on the debate stage with the President. They know, all too well, what will happen. Just have to wonder how many voters are going to be ok with that. How does anyone think Biden will do when he has to talk to an adversarial world leader when he won’t even get on a stage with the President? Putin is the boogeyman, right? How will Biden fare against him when he won’t get on a stage with the President?

It is hard for Trump to land a punch at Biden because Biden is punching himself so much it’s hard to get a clear shot. “I’m Joe Biden and I’m running for US Senate and if you don’t like me vote for the other guy.” And there are dozens of these but the best is “I’ll raise you taxes and de-fund the police.”

Show five video clips of liberals talking about systematic racism, with the fifth clip relating to jail sentencing. Then show a video of Biden pushing for longer sentencing for crack cocaine. Then explain how Biden is the author of systemic racism.

The campaign begins in September. Summer polling rarely looks like October polling. I’d rather be ahead but joe is effectively sequestered out of site and serves as the ‘unnamed opponent’ at this stage.
