Papa John's founder says Goya CEO 'should be able to speak his mind,' not be 'scared' of the left

Papa John’s pizza chain founder John Schnatter said during a recent interview that Goya CEO Bob Unanue “should be able to speak his mind” and share his political opinions.

"Everybody on the left keeps preaching diversity unless it's diversity of thought, diversity of philosophy, or diversity of ideology," Schnatter told Just the News. "And if you don't think a certain way, then you get persecuted. That's not diversity."

But this article is about the Papa John’s guy. And he did the right thing by saying that.

Maybe it will make others less afraid

He was courageous. This has caused other companies to go under or have to beg forgiveness and make payoffs to The usual suspects.

This time courage paid off. I am glad.

It seems to be working out well for Goya, for now, and before we know it, oh look! A squirrel!

Papa John’s will probably get a boycott and then a huge increase in business from supporters. LOL!

Don’t buy PJs pizza. This guy was ousted as CEO and the company is being run by Liberal schmucks now.

Papa Johns caved. DO NOT do business with them unless you support BLM.

“It seems to be working out well for Goya, for now, and before we know it, oh look! A squirrel!”

To some degree you are right, but the fact is a lot of people are for the first time finding out that their products are excellent which will lend to repeat buyers.

I think Goya needs to work on their in store marketing. In Southern California Markets tend to have an isle dedicated to “International” Foods which consists of Asian, Hispanic and even some Kosher items.

In my Stator Bros. Market I will only find their products on this International Food Isle. Many shoppers will just skip by this Isle. The issue in my mind is that many of their products are cross over canned products like Chick Peas, Pinto Beans, Cannellini Beans which should fight for shelf space on the Main Isle with other “mainstream” brand Beans. This Isle has much more foot traffic.

Anyway, this morning I'm going to put together a four bean salad using Goya canned products. First time attempting this recipe.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

I’d think in areas with a lot of Hispanics there is no need to advertise Goya at all; they’ll find it.

He was ousted. Probably the same way Steve Jobs was removed from Apple.
