Anybody looking to pay reparations to blacks...
should first ask them to identify their descendants, and should indicate whether those descendants were slaves or not.
Then....
Ask each and everyone of them from what country their ancestors came from, and whether they are sure that they would have been better off if their ancestors had remained in their country of origin. IOW, they should be able to indicate and prove that they would have been better in any country other than the USA.
And, anyone asking for reparations, should point to a country where they would have been better off if they had never lived in the USA.
And, anybody younger than the age of 100, should not be asking for reparations, since for over 100 years, anybody living in America (blacks included) could have made it towards a comfortable life, and with all the freedoms and security that America offers.

How about reparations for the 600,000 WHITE men that gave their lives in the struggle against slavery?

In 1833 Britain abolished slavery. Four years later (1837) they decided to pay reparations to the former slave owners for the loss of their property. They put forth a bond to finance the payoffs. The slave reparations bond was finally paid off in 2015.
