A former game show host appears to have deleted his Twitter account after announcing his son tested positive for the coronavirus.
On Sunday, Chuck Woolery accused the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, news media, Democrats and doctors of telling outrageous lies about COVID-19 in a post retweeted by President Donald Trump.
Woolery tweeted the next day that the virus is real, saying his son tested positive for COVID-19 and he feels for those suffering and especially for those who have lost loved ones.
By Thursday, his account was no longer on Twitter. Deadline reports the account disappeared Wednesday evening.
Trump defended retweeting Woolery after he was questioned by CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge.
I reposted a tweet that a lot of people feel, but all Im doing is making a comment, Trump said. Im just putting somebodys voice out there. There are many voices. There are many people that think we shouldnt do this kind of testing because all we do its a trap.

Damn. Chuck Woolery was the Stonewall Jackson of the movement. When you lost him....
What does Pat Sajak say?
What is Chucks deal? He said something and someone simply repeated it.
Is his son dying and hooked up to a ventilator or did he just test positive? If the former, than Chuck is a drama queen.
Meant the latter.
Twitter was hacked the other day, chill out people.
maybe trolls starting attacking him and his family on Twitter.
Have you seen the hate and bile and pedophilia on Twitter?
Im sure they went full on attacking his son in private tweets.
Is Chuck Woolery related to Tom Foolery?
Everyone knows that the virus is real, it is just that our reaction to it is surreal. Tantamount to fire-bombing your house with napalm because you found evidence of termite damage.
Eventually everyone is going to test positive.
The Covid Connection.
He’ll be back in 2 and 2.
May be.
I don’t believe this. So TWO days after he posted something that the mob went after.. he deletes and says this. It’s his way out he must have been threatened.
Over the top statements (”Everyone is lying!!”) often have a way of coming back to bite you on the backside.

You don’t believe his son got the virus, it’s just a ploy to avoid criticism on Twitter?
Could it have been deleted during the hack?
Sad, a personal dilemma for Chuck.
But his son may well pull through with flying colors.
