Wouldn’t surprise me with all of the new residents that came from left wing states.

More media propagated lies for psyops. A sign of desperation from the left.

The writer is spot on, Texas is a solid Republican state and will continue to be a Republican state.

John Cornyn is an expert at sitting on a lead; Cruz thought he was too, but it was much too close for comfort in 2018. TX liberals are coming out of the woodwork in force.

And Hillary was going to win in a landslide. It was in the bag.

Lots of blue states were going to put her in.

I will be moving there from ultra-blue Fairfax County, Virginia (to join family) within the next 3 years. Texas will be gaining another solid conservative Republican vote.

LOL. You know the Dems / Liberals / Media, they cannot differentiate between words and actions. Name calling is violence when they receive it, and therefore respond with physical violence and call it peaceful protesting. They cannot differentiate between acts and words.

So, if they say ‘blue wave in Texas’ enough times and rub their magic unicorn or something they think it becomes real. Then reality gets in the way and they suffer extreme cognitive dissonance and become violent and blame the Republicans for not making all of their wishes come true.

Wait, I thought Texas turned blue in 2016 and 2018. Isn’t that what they told us?

Hilary was beating Trump in 2016 too. At least that's what this Washington Post poll told me in September 2016. Result? Trump won by 9%.:

The winning margin may shrink, or it may grow. We have no way of knowing. But the idea that Texas is even close to flipping is ridiculous.

It was a contested election with lots of radio ads. Most of the ones I heard were about the West campaign, claiming that Hegar was not a liberal.

I did not hear any radio ads as I listen to Sirius. However, I did see a lot of M.J. Heger TV spots. She is running hard left, and one of her spots is replete with BLM signs, protestors, etc. I saw only one or two spots for West, the guy she defeated in the runoff.

Interestingly, there was a Cornyn ad that contrasted Cornyn with West, the guy who lost the primary. Why would the Cornyn people put out an ad against a 'rat when there was a runoff yet to be contested? Seems a waste to me.

One campaign does not make an election blue or red.

Texas is gaining population and a lot of it is from outside the USA.
Here is a story with some info published in 2019,

Where is Texas’ growing population coming from?
