Wouldn’t surprise me with all of the new residents that came from left wing states.
More media propagated lies for psyops. A sign of desperation from the left.
Did you read the article or just the headline? It’s apparent you only read the headline.
yes they are landing in Houston but when working elections (primary) I sat next to an opera singing theatre junkie that babbled on incessantly about her productions, cabarets lyric labs etc and wondered the whole time why a Democrat was working the Republican primary with roots in NYC and LA to boot.
Turns out she wasn’t a Democrat....
The writer is spot on, Texas is a solid Republican state and will continue to be a Republican state.
I did read it. Good numbers showing otherwise. But it still wouldn’t surprise me at all. Lots of blue staters moving here every year and a huge effort by the dems to turn the state blue could eventually make it happen. We gotta fight it all the way.
All the trolls and nanny Nellies are concerned............
John Cornyn is an expert at sitting on a lead; Cruz thought he was too, but it was much too close for comfort in 2018. TX liberals are coming out of the woodwork in force.
Reading the article is forbidden here.
The ones I’ve talked to, and it has been quite a few, talk the talk like they understand what they left (IL, CA, NJ).
The Democrat activism was strong in 2018, and I don’t see how it might have dissipated since then. It’s Cornyn’s race to lose, but he could lose.
The numbers do not support that premise and they are not even close.
And Hillary was going to win in a landslide. It was in the bag.
Lots of blue states were going to put her in.
I will be moving there from ultra-blue Fairfax County, Virginia (to join family) within the next 3 years. Texas will be gaining another solid conservative Republican vote.
How did the midterms go? Hillary’s not on the ballot in 2020. Dems are working night and day to win. The GOP not so much.
Cornyn is an uninspiring empty suit. Establishment Republicans like him are a dying breed. They stand for nothing except personal enrichment. That simply isn’t good enough when Democrats have core values and aggressively pursue their agenda.
Candidate Votes Percent
Donald Trump (GOP) 4,681,590 52.6%
Hillary Clinton (Dem) 3,867,816 43.4%
Gary Johnson (Lib) 282,524 3.2%
It was not an ordinary Texas Senate race. Democrats and Hollywood poured millions into Beto's campaign. So much so, that they felt the pinch in other races they were funding.
There they go with them negative waves again.
Were is the pic of Oddball?
