The list of states with mask mandates includes California, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
The REPUBLICAN Governor of Alabama yesterday issued a state-wide mask order. Also, so did Montana.
and of course, WalMarts everywhere.

In Maryland the stores are only required to have their employees wear them when working near/with the public.
For customers the mandate is on them, not the businesses.
Police are not interested in enforcement on the individualists either.
So if a customer refuses to wear a mask the store can tell them to leave, if they refuse the store can call police to charge them with trespassing.
Once in some stores I see some customers pulling them down while shopping, no one says anything about it.

IF the state of Maine has some kind of public mask mandate a week before i leave i will cancel pronto....
The problem with this reflexive appeal to it being private property is that it is really not their decision. The State is forcing them to be mask police. If they do not enforce these ridiculous and unlawful mandates, they will be shutdown, or fined into bankruptcy.If it really were up to them, I'd back their decisions somewhat, although everyone paying attention understand the huge social pressure the media and other agents of the police state are applying to make sure that everyone falls in line like good little sheep.
I think resistance to this crap is fully justified.
Democrat leadership, white AND African Americans, have neglected the desperate folks in inner cities. What is their motivation? Maybe while people are suffering they will not notice the evil that they live under. Maybe the Democrat leadership like an “uneducated” desperate mass of people who will believe their lies.
Perhaps deli owner should read up on the laws and regulations before he finds himself in trouble.

Just to be clear, with all due respect, we wear face shields when intubating patients because we are in the airway with the possibility of a strong voting reflex. This is much different conditions than anyone will face in public.
Some professional societies recommend a rapid sequence intubation with paralytics which is how I intubate patients. With an anesthetized and paralyzed patient there is no cough reflex and it preserves the safety for everyone in the room
