The death of George Floyd triggered nothing. It was an excuse for weeks of burning, destroying, stealing, raping and killing. An excuse turned into a national nightmare by the radical left. So it’s happening in Portland too. No surprise. A liberal nuthouse. The liberals in charge won’t do what must be done, and so this will continue until they get tired, or until they kill a Black man and it gets into the news.

The mayor here, Ted Wheeler, is a democrat. There is a person on the city council who must be a communist. They’re both anti-police and say the terrorists are just exercising “their first amendment rights”. The Mayor told the feds to stand down and clean up the graffiti or leave.

... a federal officer protecting a closed courthouse was struck in the head and shoulder with a 4.5 lb mini-sledge hammer by a terrorist laying in wait by the court’s door ... Jacob Michael Gaines, 23, of Texas, was immediately taken down and arrested for the assault on the officer.

Released pending further court actions, ie he’s back on the street looking for more federal officers to try to murder.
