Violation of United States Constitutional rights is a Federal concern.

Allowing citizens to be attacked and punished for protecting themselves, in front of the whole world to boot, is the business of President and the Federal Government.

Once this is allowed to happen. Others will follow in hordes.

Isn’t that the responsibility of the Governor first? He took an oath to uphold the State Laws, and the U.S. Constitution? If he fails, then the President should step in. But the Governor is the first line in this chain-of-command.
