Who cares who Jones wanted? Heck he could have said Tuberville so we would pick Sessions who could be easy to beat because of his disastrous record as AG.

“ Session coulda shoulda woulda done a good job for Trump.”
He couldn’t do a good job. He was a U.S. Senator. No more incompetent, corrupt and just plain stupid type of human has ever existed than a U.S. Senator. None of them has ever done a day’s work in their entire life.
Moral of the story is if you need work done and accomplishments achieved, do not choose a U.S. Senator for the job.
