Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions attacked his July 14 GOP runoff opponent for “being wrong on immigration,” an issue that he calls “one of the most important issues” Congress is faced with as it wrangles with other concerns such as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and police reform.

That’s probably what I would have done...and hoped that the OLD Senator Sessions would emerge and fight the good fight on the immigration front.
I can’t see frustrating Trump all over again with a Sessions “middle finger” vote.
Sessions seemed such a decent guy before he was put into the Administration, but he abdicated everything within 24 hours that left our country in a terrible state for many years.
Sessions needs to be put out to pasture. He can’t handle responsibility under duress.
Trump liked Sessions and where did that get him?
Rosenstein, Mueller, Weismann and a deep state coup. Sessions has a nerve even running again at all. Hiring Sessions did more damage to Trump by far than any other hire. Sessions needs to find another line of work.

If Sessions had not betrayed Trump, he would have stayed out of it.

Show the proof, making red meat campaign promises accomplishes nothing. He had an opportunity to prosecute Governors and Mays for establishing sanctuary cities and did absolutely nothing. Unless you count going after pot sanctuaries.

Trump's biggest blind spot was hiring Sessions. That was the biggest mistake of his administration.
Sessions IS the reason for the Mueller nightmare that lasted 2 years and cost $25 million. Sessions stood down and allowed Rosenthal to run the DOJ against Trump. Sessions does not deserve Trump’s support.
Tuberville has surrounded himself with Never-Trumpers and Deep State weasels.
The only positive is that they will remove Doug Jones. Other than that, the two of them stink on ice.
