Thanks. I'd been looking for the stats on how many employees were involved.
This scam has been pulled hundreds of times. A tiny number of people, and the megaphone of the press makes it sound like it was a union vote or something.
Everything you see in the press is a lie.

I’ll never buy their products again. Why, Ford hasn't caved. Ford statement:
"We are proud Ford vehicles are the first choice of first responders, including with police. We will continue to support these customers because good law enforcement agencies and officers play a critical positive role in our communities"
