The Case Against Michael Flynn Peddled by Anti-Trump DOJ Officials Suffered *The* Kill Shot Today

It's over. The game is over. As we’ve said before, this was the anti-Trumpers’ final battle. The prolonged legal fight over Michael Flynn was their Waterloo—and just like with Napoleon, it ended in total defeat.

All that’s left is the judge in the case, Emmet Sullivan, further embarrassing himself by appealing the D.C. Court of Appeals ruling that he toss the criminal case against the former Trump official. He’s not. He can’t because he knows he’s going to eat it. Sullivan had accused Flynn of being a traitor in open court and was not one to hide the fact that he was going to send Flynn away to prison for a term much longer than what the Mueller team had recommended. These folks are arrogant. They had to admit that they’re wrong.

More and more documents that have been revealed show a history of prosecutorial misconduct by those at the Department of Justice. Top FBI officials, like disgraced top brass men Andrew McCabe and James Comey, were out to get Flynn no matter what. They had no evidence to rope him into a federal investigation let alone sit him down for an interview, of which the agents involved said they walked away feeling that Flynn did not lie to them. And yet, Flynn had the screws put to him when Robert Mueller became special counsel, who took over the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Russian collusion and forced him into pleading guilty to a bogus “lying to the FBI” charge.

Flynn eventually hired a new legal team under Sidney Powell in 2019 who alleged that new evidence will show he was the victim of a political witch hunt. She said that in October of 2019 and low and behold the truth does come out, that the FBI plotted a perjury trap for him. The DOJ under Attorney General Barr submitted a motion to dismiss, the prosecutor resigned, and everyone wanted this thing dropped except Judge Emmet Sullivan, who took his tantrum all the way to the DC Court of Appeals. There was no case, but he tapped a former judge, whose law firm represents anti-Trumper Sally Yates, to fight the motion and look into whether Flynn could be charged with perjury for pleading guilty to the lying to the FBI charges; Flynn had made a motion in January of 2020 to withdraw his guilty plea. It’s a clown show. And Sullivan allowed amicus briefs to be filed by the most unhinged anti-Trump legal minds out there. When there is no prosecution, you can’t just outsource it. That’s mob rule-mentality. Powell alluded to a memo from the DOJ that would totally exonerate Flynn as a Russian agent in this Russian collusion mess. It was released today, albeit heavily redacted, but the substance is there. Six days after Flynn’s interview, the DOJ nixed the Logan Act route, noting that he wasn’t a Kremlin crony.

Katie wrote yesterday that even prior to this Sullivan is refusing to drop the case. Well, he looks even more absurd now. All that’s left is watching this man destroy himself instead of just moving on, as the rest of the country has from this fake news story regarding Russian collusion.

Oh, and let’s not forget, based on the notes from disgraced ex-FBI Agent Peter Strzok, that the Logan Act angle was suggested by none other than former Vice President Joe Biden, who has said he knew nothing about the Flynn investigation. Obama ordered the DOJ/FBI to get the “right people” on this Flynn probe, as he prepped his top security officials and gave marching orders on how to protect the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation from the incoming Trump team. That January 5, 2017 meeting should be marked as when Obama pretty much gave the order for his team to take out Flynn.

Strzok was the former top counterintelligence who reportedly signed off on the FBI's collusion probe in July of 2016 before Robert Mueller took it over following the firing of James Comey in May of 2017. Strzok was also a key point person in the review of Hillary Clinton's email server, two of the most politically sensitive investigations to hit the bureau in recent memory. He was also staunchly anti-Trump, as evidenced in the tens of thousands of texts he sent to his mistress, Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer. This revelation forced Meuller to remove him from the investigation, where he was reassigned to human resources. He was eventually fired for his unprofessional misconduct which cast doubt on the credibility of the FBI as an impartial investigative body.

And the reasons he gave for the initial counterintelligence probe were garbage. Former FBI Intelligence official Kevin Brock wrote an op-ed that torched Strzok's reasoning for this investigation, calling the document that set off the FBI's surveillance operation into the Trump campaign a "train wreck." He added, "What this FBI document clearly establishes is that Crossfire Hurricane [the FBI's spy operation into the Trump campaign] was an illicit, made-up investigation lacking a shred of justifying predication, sprung from the mind of someone who despised Donald Trump, and then blessed by inexperienced leadership at the highest levels who harbored their own now well-established biases.”

Ouch.

The Russian collusion circus is how Flynn got roped into this mess, with special attention given to his calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, who James Comey is said to have admitted were legitimate calls, no pernicious intent whatsoever which was what the liberal media heavily insinuated.

One last question remains. This evidence was withheld for three years. Who gave that order?

I was under the impression that the appeals court had 21 days from the date of the 3 judge panel’s decision to decide whether or not to hold an en banc hearing. That would mean by July 15th they have to decide on Sullivan’s request. Inasmuch as I am not a Lawyer, I may be wrong on this. So, I am asking one of you more learned people out there to tell me, just when the full circuit court must decide on whether or not to hold the en banc hearing Sullivan has requested. Help...Help...Help

Now you’re getting to the heart of it.

Given that Sullivan is being coerced or controlled, anyone who thinks he gives the tiniest shit about being “embarrassed” hasn’t been paying attention.

This is the second stupid article I’ve seen with a headline that is the opposite of the story. It isn’t over, Sullivan is continuing the farce, and has every chance of being upheld by the if he’s granted en banc.

Impeach the editors who write these headlines.

“This is not farcical to the left. It’s business as usual. They’ve done the Russia collusion fantasy for over 4 years now and have no problem playing this game another 115 days until the election.”

Of course it isn’t farcical to the Left. If they thought that they wouldn’t be doing it but you seem to believe they know exactly what they are doing. But you are wrong because they are totally blinded by their hatred of Trump AND are scared to death of thr far Left thugs who are now dominating their actions.

To the 15% or so on the fringes anything goes and they believe everyone feels as they do but that is not how elections are won. It is the winner of the fight for those in the middle which determines the winner. In other words not the crazy partisans because they will NEVER change no matter what.

These Independents when reading about what actually transpired in the Flynn case and seeing the complete unfairness of the bogus charges will side with Flynn and against the Lefty Judge pushing this nonsense for what is obviously partisan purposes.

At this point everyone with a brain realizes the General wil NOT be going to jail so perhaps the real reason this is being done is an attempt to get Trump to pardon Flynn so Sullivan will have an avenue to travel in getting out of the stupendous mess he has got himself into without actually admitting he did anything wrong or apologizing for the things he said.

what has the Deep State on the numerous evil Emmet Sullivan?

I'd say nothing, just another deep-state person who despises President Trump, and therefore, Flynn by extension.

The House of Reps are where the impeachment starts. Even if the Repukes had a majority, they will NEVER impeach a black judge.......nothing is going to happen.

Judge Sullivan MUST pay a price for this. No justice, no peace. ______________________________________ We need to find out what’s driving him. He knows this is career suicide.

You are mistaken.

First, he is at retirement age, so no one can touch him.

Second, he is burnishing his leftist credentials, which are his only hope of being chosen for the DC circuit court.

Third, he is becoming a hero in his social circles in D.C., most of which hate President Trump with a passion.

Prosecutors have absolute immunity.

According to Taylor v. Kavanagh, based upon Supreme Court law, “The falsification of evidence and the coercion of witnesses...have been held to be prosecutorial activities for which absolute immunity applies. Similarly, because a prosecutor is acting as an advocate in a judicial proceeding, the solicitation and subornation of perjured testimony, the withholding of evidence, or the introduction of illegally-seized evidence at trial does not create liability in damages.”

Absolute immunity for prosecutors needs to end.

So?

That small obstacle wouldn’t stop the Dems. And who cares if he’s black or pinl for that matter. He has violated his office by refusing to follow the law of SCOTUS concerning dismissals, and he also has refused to follow the Constitution and due process.

That shoudl be attacked, full speed ahead.

house minority sjnould introduce a mption for an impeachment investigation at the very least and state what Sullivan has done on the record. Deterrence to any other radical judge that at the very least there will be a huge noise made!

This is hard ball, not whiffle ball as you suggest.

My prediction is that Strzok and Page will be thrown under the bus, Comey will get a slap on the wrist and the rest get off with nothing. Strzok and his paramour Page facing actual jail time could make it interesting by telling what they know but I think they would face the risk being Epsteined.

Sullivan.

MUST RESIGN...

Or We will impeach him.

Congress! Start impeachment proceedings NOW.

Neither. Fire him period. There is nothing in the Constitution giving these assholes lifetime appointments. The job appointment is based on “Good Behavior”. All other terms for Presidents, congressmen and senators are spelled out. Judges are not. If the framers truly wanted these despots appointed until there is a drool cup hooked up to them, then why did they not stipulate lifetime appointments? Trump needs to take those words literally and fire him for “Bad Behavior!”. If the ballest Senate want to challenge the President, they have to fight him over the Constitution and the meaning of words. I was always told to be on my “Best Behavior” in churxh, and I’m still for some dam reason not the Pope!

That’ll work.

Firing him sounds lie a very good idea to me.

Send the IS Marshalls down with the pink slip and make him clear out his desk.

"This evidence was withheld for three years. Who gave that order?"

And why is Judge Sullivan, after demanding that any known exculpatory evidence be turned over to he defense, ignoring that same evidence, that has recently been uncovered?
