Authorities in St. Louis executed a search warrant Friday evening at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the couple who made headlines last month when they took up arms to defend their homes from protesters.
During the search, police seized the rifle that Mark McCloskey was shown holding during the June 28 incident, KSDK-TV of St. Louis reported, citing information from a source.
The pistol that Patricia McCloskey held during the June confrontation was already in the possession of the couples attorney, the station reported.

A measured response is often the appropriate response.
No doubt most FReepers measure twice, cut once...

Excellent, thanks Mark McClosky.
Didnt get the boat out of lock-down storage in time to take that unfortunate fishing accident trip, eh?
And all you whiney "they were just following orders" bunch...
Can go pound sand.
Why arent the anti-police protesters rioting over the police searching their home?
Yep. The couple are BLM supporters.
Oh wow!
If they committed no crime and they were on their own property this is illegal actions by the government.
Time to sue the city for everything it’s worth and dare I say it...time to start sueing #BLM and ActBlue their money laundering folks. And if they are what triggered this illegal search and seizure of weapons, charge them with a violation of civil rights.
I don’t know what POTUS can do, or if the DOJ has any jurisdiction at all, but Trump and if applicable, Barr, need to address the right to self defense in this country. Local police departments and district attorneys are doing everything ass backwards, letting the mob run wild while arresting and investigating people defending themselves from that same mob.
Buying new multithousand dollar suits for Wayne.
Missouri has no red flag law.
“Theyre filthy rich “
I never got the feeling that they’re “filthy rich”.
They bought the house 32 years ago when it was in complete shambles at a bargain-basement price. Little by little over those years they have restored it in small increments. His practice generally defends those who have little or no money.
“Hire a private security firm to guard the house 24/7 against the thugs.”
In an interview on Fox, Mr. McClosky said they tried to hire every private security firm in existence in that area. EVERY one of them turned him down. The last one he talked to advised him to “leave”. They didn’t want to be on the wrong side of BLM, etc.
The development has its own private security detail, but they refused to show up and help, as did the regular cops.
This sounds more like creative application of their brandishing law:
571.030. Unlawful use of weapons
(4) Exhibits, in the presence of one or more persons, any weapon readily capable of lethal use in an angry or threatening manner;
I wouldnt think this would apply to private property, but thats where the creative part come in...
What was the pretext for the search warrant?
Don't policemen take an oath similar to the military.? I know darn well the judges and prosecutors would..!
Id be very tempted to pack up and move to Thailand. Maybe burn the house down as I left.
Unless drastic measures are taken, sooner or later there will be another RAT POTUS. GettingTFO of the USA becomes a very real necessity at that point.
The problem is finding a country that isnt fully hardwired to the NWO-Globohomo-Bolshevik borg.
Where is the Republican Governor of Missouri???
dumb question, i wonder under what law were the firearms confiscated.
Steve, they had better come up with an answer to that question AND FAST!
This is unreal...I was immediately reminded of the scene in the series The Revolutionary War, where the British came looking for the WEAPONS. Made me a little sick.
Istn’t Missouri supposed to be a Red state?
“Where is the Republican Governor of Missouri???”
The Missouri Attorney General was on Fox last night defending the McCloskey’s and citing the Castle Doctrine as justification for their actions, but gave no indication of whether or not he’ll intervene.
