It’s called the Naturalization Process, Mr. President. IF they really want to be US citizens this is what they have to do.

I will withhold judgement til I see exactly what is IN this executive order. He tried this two years ago but the Dems refused..they want amnesty for ALL illegals, not just DACA, for all illegals..they allow that and its 20 million new Dem voters
DACA was never legal.
They are still illegal aliens.

I’d have to see the entire bill before I complain. Getting rid of DACA people was pretty low on my concerns with illegal immigrants either way but it would have to be a pretty good plan for me to just let them become citizens.

They are illegal aliens, they would have to go back to their own country to start the naturalization process unless given some form of amnesty.
Last time he offered it the Dems stopped his plan.
Appears I was posting at same time as you. President Trump’s plan is obscene. How will his EO be any more constitutional than Obama’s and why should we be giving, or even talking about AMNESTY for illegal aliens. And what about their family’s? And the chain of millions that follow? Does President Trump think this will win him votes in November?!
It’s apparent he no longer cares for the votes of his base.

IMO, we should wait and see what exactly POTUS is planning to do. I admit I’m not terribly comfortable either, with the Path to Citizenship bit, but we’ve only just heard of this, we don’t know the full story yet.
Doesn’t sound great but he’s committed to nothing. I Will reserve judgement.
Whenever the President says something is going to happen within X number of weeks it is never heard from again. I think Trump was spitballing and once reality kicks in he'll realize that what he suggested isn't feasible.
