CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Fourteen people arrested during the police violence protests in Cincinnati will face felony charges. They are accused of trying to assault police or damaging and looting stores.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced the indictments on Thursday.

"I will defend a person's right to peaceably protest and I always will. But when individuals use that occasion to loot, attack our police and their equipment and damage private and personal property and public property, I'm done with them."

The 14 face a variety of charges including assault, breaking and entering and gun charges. Deters said none of those charges will be reduced or dismissed.

Deters singled out a few of them including Solomon Zellers who he said had a gun with an extended clip taken from him. Deters said he could have caused multiple injuries and/or deaths.

He also mentioned Justin Crum, who is accused of breaking into Saks twice in three days.

He said those who are charged were taking advantage of the situation.

"That's not protest, that's looting. It's not going to be tolerated by my office, I can tell you that."

Only Crum remains in jail. The rest are out on bond.

A little good news for the day. Hopefully they can identify more from the riot.

I especially liked this: Deters said none of those charges will be reduced or dismissed.

I’ll believe it when I see it. If anything, this will be swept under the rug after charges are dismissed or sentences reduced to probation. Cincinnati is a leftist crap hole.

“arrested during the police violence protests”

thought it was a typo, but it isn’t.

shouldn’t it be “arrested during the violent protests”?

Oop, he’s full of crap. Guess what those out on bond are doing right now? I’ll give you 3, and the first 2 don’t count.

Here’s what Justice looks like: The Torah decrees that if a man steals from somebody, he must make complete restitution plus an additional fifth of the value of the damages. This is Righteous and Just. Those people who destroyed businesses, monuments, police cars, other vehicles, and public places MUST be made to Pay Back the value of what they have Destroyed. They also should be made to pay for the entire cost of their arrests, trials, incarceration and ancillary costs. Only after they have done that; paid in full their debt to society. Only then may their citizenship privileges like voting, be reinstated.” Well!”, you may say, “That will not happen! These rioting haters don’t have any money! They won’t do it! OK then, take the money from Black Lives Matter! Hundreds of millions in corporate and NGO donations have arrived just in time. BLM is a communist, terrorist organization. Their entire funding needs to be traced out and confiscated! It’s time to pay the piper!

>>shouldn’t it be “arrested during the violent protests”?<<

Good catch. They could save space by using the simple truth: “arrested during riots.”
