Several attorneys in Jacksonville, Florida, teamed up to file a lawsuit to stop the Republican National Convention from taking place there in August.
The lawsuit, filed in Duval County, makes several arguments as to why the city should not host the Republican National Convention as Floridas coronavirus case numbers rise.
The suit said the convention would be a nuisance injurious to the health [and] welfare of the community.

It is not a Republican Convention.
It is a PEACEFUL PROTEST.
You cannot spread the KungFlu at a peaceful protest.
Cancel the convention and have the RNC spend the money on killer TV and radio ads, saturating the airwaves with all of the BS the Socialist Democrats have been up to for the past four years in their effort to overturn an American Presidential Election!
We can all get together and party after November 3rd. ;)
It’s not political. They’re doing it for the children, so to speak. /S
And they didnt lift a finger to sue BLM for reparations to their devastated and trashed city.
F Em - its a protest
Pretty obvious what the lockdowns are really all about, right?
The Houston mayor cancels the Texas state convention for the same BS reason, but the Rats already did theirs, no opposition.
Every Trump rally will have this issue as well. All they have is a tired old corrupticon to trot out and nobody gonna queue up to see that!
The @ssholes at the Lincoln Project are probably behind this.
Pull an aircraft carrier into Jacksonville it would be awesome.
Hmm...thinking Shakespeare and lawyers ...
My town. From what I understand as of today there is discussion about holding it outside in the stadium instead of the arena.
Is there a Morgan in this firm ??
There’s usually one here.

THIS! Perfect. :-)
Would be nice to know what party afflication they were, but it wouldn’t surprise me that some so called Republican lawyers who call themselves Republicans, sort of Swamp Creatures are among them.
What’s their standing? I doubt they’d be forced to attend.
The coup attempt continues...
ID them, dox 'em, etc.
I have said the convention should be on private property, secluded, tented, easy to secure, able to deny access to noninvited trespassers
Pare down attendance to necessary officials
Pare down the event to minimum days
Not the year for a big party
Theres always the USS Yorktown in Charleston....
Valid point, but we lose the in-your-face ingredient that Trump is so very adept at ... and enjoys.
