The protesters cut a deal with the Seattle Police Dept. and the WA Highway Patrol to set up barriers and reroute traffic to accommodate the shutdown every night.

That’s right, our government illegally participated in closing a federal interstate in order to encourage a private parade and demonstration.

Now people are dead because the government created an illusion of safety that you could walk on an interstate.

Governor Inslee and Mayor Durkan have blood on their hands. So does the media for not reporting what is obviously a news story that could have kept drivers away.
I suspect that they are going to have difficulties getting convictions in these incidents. Any sane person understands how dangerous these mobs are.
Some years ago a friend of mine was in a car with her two children and this man wheeled his wheelchair right out in front of her. This was on a four-lane road with a median and a 55 mile an hour speed limit. It was at rush hour so there was very little distance between the cars. When she hit him she didn’t even know it was a person. She thought it was a bag of trash that had blown in front of her.
She was absolved by the police, but the man’s family took her to court and tried take her and her husband’s business. They were unsuccessful but the stress of the trial and the man’s death devastated her. And she was a tough girl. They got some pushy woman lawyer from Miami to come up to Lakeland (Florida) because nobody in the area would take the case, which did not go over well with the jury. But she was excoriated on the witness stand by this scumbag lawyer.
What was also interesting was that this guy was wheeling his wheelchair up and down that road every day at rush hour and crossing the street recklessly. Basically everybody in town knew he was going to get himself run over. And that it wouldn’t be the driver’s fault.
And that my friend is the fly in the ointment. I don't think you can consider progressives to be sane. And I don't think progressives understand or care how dangerous these mobs are. It's likely that every progresive on a jury would vote to convict the driver.

Don’t forget that the driver went UP an OFF-RAMP and drove against what would be the normal traffic flow to get to where the demonstrators were.
The driver is no less and no more complicit as the Mayor and WSP in these deaths.

It would be a government service if the authorities would reiterate when it’s O.K. for us to use deadly force, because it’s going to happen more often as people protect themselves as cops are MIA.
Still...if you have to turn on the wipers to clear the windshield of protestor, that would have to leave an impression.

According to court documents, there is video showing Kelete driving the wrong way up the Stewart Street exit ramp on I-5 before the crash.Wrong way up the ramp, but not against what would be the normal traffic flow to get at the protestors.
Hopefully you can correct this lie wherever you have told it.

So you think that he drove up the Eastlake entrance backwards, then did a u-turn in the middle of the I-5 and followed the direction of travel?
It looks to me that if all the “not counterflow” options, his coming up the Yale ONRAMP is the most likely, but that negates the whole ON using the OFF ramp. narrative.
Then again, I haven’t driven that road in a few years. Will be as soon as the PLANDEMIC SHUTDOWN is over, though...

Anyone who has driven in a 3rd world country can tell you first hand, American hiways are no where near the conditions of a 3rd world nation.
I gotta say, the comparison is not far off. I’ve driven highways in Latin America that are like Mad Max: trucks swerving just because you are passing them, dead bodies - humans, cattle, and assorted road kill (I kid you not about human bodies — I saw 2 separate instances of unattended corpses along the roadside), constant, knuckle-clenched steering and up/down shifting to not be that guy who didn’t make it. Actually quite fun.
But in the USA? More third worldism brought to you by the Left.
