Ford Employees Demand They Stop Making Police Cars

Ford Motor Company Employees have asked the company’s leadership to stop making and selling police vehicles.

According to Verge, the internal discussion came as the demands for racial justice raged across the country.

In response, Ford CEO Jim Hackett has told employees in a letter that he doesn’t think it’s “controversial that the Ford Police Interceptor helps officers do their job” and that Ford will continue the business.

Ford has the market when it comes to making police cars, accounting for two-thirds of the cop cars on the street.

Despite Ford’s success in the police car market, employees, including black workers who are part of Ford’s African Ancestry Network (FAAN) employee resource group have circulated a letter asking the company to “cease development, production, and sale of all custom police vehicles and products.”

This is one reason why employees inside Ford are now arguing that the company should sever its relationship with police. “We cannot claim to support the fight against systemic racism while supplying and supporting the very systems that perpetrate violence against Black Americans,” the group wrote, according to Jalopnik.

They continued:

Throughout our history, the vehicles that Ford employees design and build have been used as accessories to police brutality and oppression. We know that while many join, support, or supply law enforcement with good intentions, these racist policing practices that plague our society are historic and systemic — a history and system perpetuated by Ford for over 70 years — ever since Ford introduced the first-ever police package in 1950. As an undeniable part of that history and system, we are long overdue to “think and act differently” on our role in racism.

I have never bought a Ford product and never will. Henry Ford was a well-known antisemite. Clearly Ford is not considering the best interests of the country where it was founded. Instead, it panders to those who would sunder this great nation and usher it into crime and chaos. Fie on you, Ford!

Everywhere you see the term “systemic” in this war, be informed it comes from the Marxists and is in use to serve their agenda. Many ignorant people are the sheeple, the fools for tools sheeple, who spout language and terms they know not the origins of, but merely repeat, as they’ve been taught, as if the terms are gospel and not subject to question or debate - they are to be accepted as a given.

Systemic whiners and crying “adults” are the types one needs to remove from their life and avoid at all costs.

They’ve lost both their happiness plug and their ability to have any responsibility. ALL of their “happiness” has drained out and cannot be replaced....AND....they blame everyone else and everything else for their position in life.

“Systemic whiners and crying “adults” are the types one needs to remove from their life and avoid at all costs.”

For the BLM and other Marxists, its two things.

1. It’s a simplistic answer to all “racial problems”, which are not simple at all, and are very dynamic and contextual.

2. But, once indoctrinated into the idea that it is all “systemic” the sheeple that go along with it don’t ask or need any analysis of the “systemic” charge - they are taught to just believe it without question, like the Ten Commandments.

“Systemic” is a simplistic answer that is intended to merely be accepted, no questions asked.

Depending on the Model, the Ram Interior rivals Luxury Cars. They have gotten Truck of the Year Awards for two years in a row.

They still sell the “Classic” last Generation Ram Trucks alongside the new Platform.

I used to be a Ford Guy, but in 1977 bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and have had 4 since; my current one is a 550HP HEMI V8.

Production knows every person occupying an assembly position on the line for a particular Vin number. Process capture cameras observe for safety and conformance to standards purposes.

"Ford’s African Ancestry Network (FAAN)"

Give'm an inch, they want the entire damn village.

(Also, the day I sit in a Ford dealer demo vehicle and there's a sticker on some random part of the car that says..."Built Ford Tough by Ford’s African Ancestry Network"...I'm outta there, after telling them exactly why.)

How smart can an employee be if he thinks hurting the company will help his job?

IIRC it was Nanzi Pelosi (D-Sub Zero) who once said "the workers control the means of production".Or was it Karl Marx?

Yup,I saw one once while driving along one of the main roads of Dubai...Sheikh Mohammad Goat Fornicator Road.Dubai is also the place I once saw a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse...which is why the police need cars like that.

If I was Ford I would tell the union ok, but since Ford makes 95% of all police vehicles, then were going to have to layoff a bunch of folk’s. I would notify the union at the end of the last shift of the day.

This is a splinter group. If you polled the entire work force, you would find that these few liberal jackasses are only a small percentage of the work force. The general opinion is that the work force is very glad to have the work.
