Even in perfect conditions with teleprompters to read from, Joe Biden still forgets what he's talking about. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is barely there.
Appearing virtually at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' 2020 Virtual Political Conference on Wednesday, Biden appeared to be reading from a teleprompter when he repeatedly lost his train of thought.

If Slo Joe is taken out of the running due to obvious impairment, it will irk the Bernie-ites profoundly if he isn’t again considered, a double flush. That would not bode well for Democrat support.
The Democrats will have an extremely heavy lift to focus attention from Biden onto the VP candidate the longer this goes on.
If they believed it would help, they would have named a VP right away. The delay is telling. Why delay this?
There is no way that they will choose to have Biden debate Trump in a two-hour format. He usually starts out okay, but even in a 30 minute appearance the cognitive decline is obvious as he does not have the mental stamina to keep hitting his talking points.
It is pretty sad and the evidence continues to pile up.
The delay is because Biden boxed himself in with his off the cuff pledge to have a female running mate. The better known possibilities have baggage and do not poll well. The lesser known candidates are not polling well either and many of those mentioned as possibilities are probably failing the vetting.
His inner-circle must have ulcers by now. It’s bad enough when you are worried about your candidate self-destructing in an interview or other appearance, but now they have a very small pool for (in their own words) the most important decision of their campaign.
No...I don’t really have a theory at all. Honestly, I am baffled. I just can’t imagine they really are stupid enough to put him up on the podium, and don’t see what their end game is.

They know it, the liberal voters know it and are loving every minute of this giant public FYOU, it’s that much more fun to them. What they are up to is bringing a radical Marxist woman in through the back door to be President, someone that wouldn’t even remotely be able to win the general election. They will get the black vote, the women’s vote, with voter fraud, will seal the deal.

It does seem suspicious that the Democrats would let this go forward - that there must be some strategy that we are missing.
But the explanation is simple: Democrats are so blinded by their hate and contempt for Trump and his supporters, that they simply do not see the train wreck ahead the way we do.
I find this in every conversation with a Democrat lately. They aren’t even focused on Biden at all. Their entire focus on Trump. They ask - how can you support such a man? What is wrong with you? How stupid can you be? Their anger and frustration is palpable.
I believe that is why they are ignoring Biden’s issues. They support any alternative to Trump without question - so they are literally not questioning Biden’s fitness, his vision, his voter appeal - or anything.
The Democrats just can’t believe anyone would vote for Trump again - they believe his 2016 supporters voted for him out of ignorance, and that the last four years of Trump “failure” has turned even those ignorant deplorables against him.
They are therefore unable to see what’s really happening. Trump has gained support since 2016 - not lost it.
We could be headed for a Nixon/McGovern landslide...
Even when he can remember his train of thought, it's on a side track.
I’m thinking the Dems and a bunch of evil people we haven’t seen yet are going to try and disrupt this nation, thus Biden in their eyes is a nobody in terms of what they want to do to this nation. It won’t go the way they wish but the nation may well be fractured and broken up afterward. I hope the right people get ahold of the nuclear weapons.
I can’t imagine they will allow him to debate. Notice he used the same strategy as he did in the debates when his mind goes fuzz, he say’s he’s “taking too much time” and cuts his ramblings short.
