We need to work twice as hard as in 2016 for Trump to win.

You make good points...Rasmussen had Hillary by 2% shortly before the election in 2016; and I think she won the popular vote by a very close percentage- around 1% or 2%. There are a hand full of counties in states like you mention that will be absolutely crucial again, and even small changes from 2016 in the remaining counties of those states could easily tip the balance one way or another.

The new survey finds Trump with 74% of the Republican vote

I don't buy that for a minute, even the polls have Trump at around 90%+ approval among Republicans. Are we suppose to believe there are 15% of Republican voters that approve of Trump's performance but are going to vote for Biden?

That is why Biden is in the “basement”. Wait until he comes out and starts speaking!

I think Trump should take a long hard look at his campaign team . They haven’t shown much, ie the Tulsa tally. Trump should pound it out that our way of life is at stake.

I don’t necessarily believe the polls and I don’t necessarily disbelieve them.

I’m pretty certain at this point they have little relevance except this: that many...maybe most...Americans would be willing to vote for a feeble, obviously demented (in the medical sense) fraud of a candidate (wink, wink) because they can be so easily gas-lighted by “crises” invented and perpetuated by extremists - openly Marxist mobs - should give everyone great pause for the teetering future of this former-nation.

That all of the institutions of this land - that all of the “elite” - that all major businesses - are rushing toward Marxism with open arms. That Trump’s speech at Mt. Rushmore defending the former-nation and it’s virtues and accomplishments can be panned as unacceptably divisive by EVERY institution and all of today’s acceptable society should tell everyone that this is no longer a functioning nation. The rot is too deep and too advanced. This patient can not be saved. What will come out of the coming apocalypse (either a whimpering submission to tyranny or an explosive war to the death of one side) here will be something very different than what we’ve known before.

I actually laughed when Biden farted on TV talking to Tom Wolf. Biden is like McCain.

That is what the poll is meant to do. All polls are meaningless at this time.

Here is where the lie is found! Trump has over 90% GOP support. Always look at the internals of the poll

What has biden dun to help America?

This isn't about Biden, it's about Trump.

Trump's strength is his weakness.

People loved his delivery and unwillingness to filter his thoughts.

Now that many have tired of his act he's going to have a hard time changing without weakening his base.

Trump has over 90% GOP support, not 75% like this poll says. Stop drinking the kool aid.

Exactly! Trump set records for the GOP primary vote even though he was uncontested. The Poll is rigged.

Voodoo probably is more scientific. But, but look inside this poll. One major flaw here: this was an automated poll and it did not include the millions upon millions of people who have cell phones. It also does not tell you what specific breakdown, especially by party affiliation, was used. But, setting all of that aside, consider the fact that this poll shows a 10% gap but only 6% undecided. The methodology does not explain where the other 4% went. I seriously doubt that Kanye West has locked up that many votes. Does the Libertarian party even have a candidate? Let’s reduce that 4% to 1%, giving them some benefit of the doubt, and add 3% to the 6% undecided. Then, let’s assume President Trump gathers in 2/3 of that undecided vote. That puts the race at Biden 53%, Trump 46%. That means a flip of only 3.5% for Trump to win. And we’re talking popular vote, not electoral vote, which should come more easily. As we say down here in the south, “Hold on to the huckleberry bushes!“ Keep the faith.

“That is why Biden is in the “basement”. Wait until he comes out and starts speaking!”

What makes you think he will? If I were his team I’d refuse to debate Trump. The average voter wouldn’t care.

COVID-19 is a gift to Biden.

Yes but most people on here do not watch the “news”. Those that get their information from those “news” sources are bound to form a negative opinion.

Biden is basically the ‘generic democrat’ right now. This will evolve after the convention and we’ll have a better picture.

If the shy Trump voter is a chimera, we may be looking at a Biden inauguration in January. Via Zoom in the White House basement.

After that we’ll be looking at Biden through steel bars just before execution

No one is tired of Trump’s act, that is Trump being Trump. The idea that only 75% of GOP voters support him is a lie as proven by the record turnout in the primaries. We already have Trump signs all over our subdivision.
