No semantics - to end an extension is not to end what it was an extension from.

And “qualified immunity” is a doctrine which should be done away with in it’s entirety. Anyone depriving any American of their Civil Rights without due process should pay a very, very heavy price.
Any Conservative should know this.
If you don't, you are not conservative.

I would prefer a federal law that resisting arrest anywhere everywhere is a felony and can be mitigated by a sap blow to the head rendering the resister incapacitated.
I would prefer the cops not get your hands behind your back and then push them towards the back of your head and call it resisting when your wrists won't go any higher.
Just because a cop is saying, "stop resisting" doesn't mean anyone is actually resisting.

Have you seen the number of frivolous civil rights complaints that get filed against even the good cops who follow all the rules?
No. Why don't you show them to us?

I don’t think they’re at odds. Rand believed in basic functions of government; courts, military, and police. The left have been historically anti-military and anti-police, seeing them as tools of capitalist-fascism. She also said to reject the sanction of the victim. If we start bending over to talk about police reforms in response to a mob, that is what she called “the sanction of the victim”

Oh ye gullible...... ye who hate cops and prevent them from enforcing the law.
The criminals are the problem, not the cops
Your thinking has been what created the mess. Mamby pamby molly coddling of criminals must cease.
A few saps to the head and resisters will learn where there place is.

The city settled the lawsuit for the civil rights violation. The individual officers did not have to pay a penny.

You think it would be a win if I had?
I have only seen it happen.
But please, post your next bit of faulty logic.

Five.
It aided in my thoughts on what is wrong with cops and cop organizations.

Their unions or employers can provide attorneys as a condition of employment.
Ask a Chicago cop how well that works.

Agree. Having people who make big decisions and suffer no consequences from make really bad big decisions is no way to run a circus, let alone a country.

I’ve seen here no reason why he or anyone else should give a **** what you believe or don’t believe.
