If you are in the UN you get a Bill. There are mandatory dues and voluntary dues. We are stopping the voluntary dues. I don’t think you can get out of the mandatory ones. I could be incorrect.
I do the same always checking the origin of the fish. If it is from China, I don’t bother. The only fish I can find that is in the US is Cod and Wild Halibut.
Even today there was a letter signed by dozens of doctors demanding that the WHO admit that Coronavirus is spread in the air...rather than just dropping to the ground as WHO claims.
Yes, people do mature as they get older. I was no saint and I am not proud of some of the things I did. Thankfully, God is forgiving when we seek forgiveness.
I wish there was a way we could make sure POTUS sees this thread. If he could see almost every single post says now kick out UN too...

I always check. China has far inferior QC, sanitary and safety controls, I try to avoid ALL food from China. Cans, bags or boxes...
It sucks, hard to find salmon and mackerel frozen or in cans too, that are not from China. But I did find Chicken of the Sea canned salmon was from Thailand, not quite as bad, and Beach Cliff sardines from Poland. Not one canned fish I can find is from the US. Hopefully new trade deals will change that.
The downside is it will be more expensive, primarily due to unions. Which is why most companies dropped US manufacturing to begin with...union strikes for more pay, price goes up. Consumers buy less...union strikes again...
I’m getting away from everything, food or not, with China on the label. Been trying for years...just always inferior quality.
There’s a lot of us who feel the same. I’m 76 and trying to be really, really good and hope HE forgives the other stuff.

There are all sorts of strange rules about which foods must have a country of origin and which ones are not allowed to list it. Right now I wouldn't trust a fortune cookie made in China.
I think we should keep a seat at the UN table for at least a short while. We still will have veto rights.

Good! The WHO sounded like maybe a good idea (germs can and do travel across national borders, after all) but it turned out to be an apologist front group for the worst dictatorships. Sometimes a good idea can be co-opted and turned bad by evil people. USA can lead a far more honest and effective international effort for the next virus than WHO did for this last one.
The bigger and more important thing is.....Let’s hope and pray that we officially withdraw from the UN/UnitedNazis soon! Like, tomorrow if not this afternoon! And then kick the evil cabal OUT of USA. The building in NYC could be used for a whole host of positive things, instead.
