A state attorney general in New York says that the Black Lives Matter Foundation must immediately stop seeking donations from New Yorkers who believe the organization is affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement.
The foundation is a California-based company that is not registered in New York as a charitable organization, which makes it illegal to collect donations from inside the state, New York Attorney General Letitia James said Monday.
“Every organization that seeks to solicit donations from New Yorkers must follow state laws. We will also fight for transparency so that donors’ goodwill isn’t preyed upon by opportunists," James also said. “The Black Lives Matter Foundation failed to register or file any financial documents with the state, and therefore, has failed to provide New Yorkers with information on how their donations will be used."
The foundation, which is listed as a nonprofit with a singular employee and a UPS store as its address, raised more than $4 million following the May 25 death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis. The majority of those funds have now been frozen as the foundation came under scrutiny.
Many donors have given to the foundation in recent weeks thinking that they were contributing to the organization whose cause is to end police brutality. Companies including Apple, Microsoft and Google have recently made donation to the Black Lives Matter Foundation.

I’m on board with the STATEMENT: Black lives matter. In fact, ALL black lives matter, not just the retards who choose to get violent with cops and pay the price.
The proper noun, Black Lives Matter, on the other hand, refers to a communist front organization, that doesn’t actually care about most black peoples’ lives. At least not normal, decent black people who obey the law, work for a living, and try to make a decent life for themselves. Those people are “Uncle Toms” to this communist organization.
Of course, since it doesn’t go directly to the DNC.
Any better proof that the public has simply been conditioned to react to the utterance of “Black Lives Matter” like Pavlov’s dogs?

Paraphrasing Rush Limbaugh this morning: Black Lives Matter is not what it’s name implies. Do a web search and you’ll find it is a communist Marxist leftest political organization whose objective is to do away with Christianity, Capitalism, freedom, individuality and the US Constitutional system of laws that are the cornerstone of all that has made this country the greatest country for all people in all of the history of this world. If you bow to the BLM movement, your are embracing the death of the USA and your own freedom and liberty. It’s simple, don’t do that unless you are willing to live under absolute control of thugs who will incarcerate and or kill you for speaking against their rule over you. This is the ultra wealthy globalists agenda and demonstrably, the DC democrats are fully on board.

In this case, I suspect these corporations, while they wanted to virtue signal, were donating to a company that they knew wasn't a Communist front for the Democratic National Committee. They may have been a annoyed to find out the tax issue though.
