JUST IN: you can audit most of the courses you need for any Harvard undergrad for free online and not get yourself $50k in debt PER YEAR
they’re trying to convince everyone it’s “just as good”? It’s like Coke deciding to advertise Pepsi.
If it is the knowledge that you get from a Harvard education, then auditing is worthwhile. If it the credential, then it’s a waste of time. I think that you can audit all classes from MIT. If you are interested in STEM education, MIT might be the way to go.
