This pretty brilliant. Let’s see the lefties object to this. Traditional American heroes. It will put lefty hatred on full display.
totally agreed
Maybe something like the Tree of Life at one of the Disney parks. It has animals hidden all over it. Start at the bottom (the roots) with our Founding Fathers. Continue up the trunk in historical order, leaving room to add as suggestions are made and for future greats. End with some kind of fruit or
leaves that reflect the people viewing the monument to show that We the People are the ones responsible for keeping America great.
John Glenn - first American in orbit
Neil Armstrong - first man to walk on moon.
I see Christa McCauliff in the list - first female civilian selected to go to space, who died in the Challenger explosion.
And that’s fine, she was brave and can stay. But she isn’t who I think of when I think of space program achievements.
Chuck Yeager - flying Ace and first pilot to exceed the speed of sound.
Will every future president add people?
Can future presidents remove people?
Alvin C. York
Sally Ride ???
John Wayne
I don’t know....I think it’s fair game to add....I don’t think it’s fair game to remove.
The answer to speech you don’t like is more speech, not less.
I had the same thought on the space program. Christa is good, but those firsters you list should be included methinks
Hank Aaron
No one has commented on my first name I added, so I’m gonna say it again:
Sam Houston
This will drive the libs crazy: Wernher von Braun
We need a list of traitors who await transport to an atoll the Indian Ocean in refrigerated shipping containers for military trials on charges of seditious conspiracy, waging war on the U.S. and other fun things.
Casimir Pulaski - He saved George Washington’s life at the Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777.
Pulaski was promoted to General and became known as the Father of the American Calvary.
I believe Jimmy Stewart also reached the rank of Brigadier General, perhaps in the Reserves? Such a great great American on many counts!
Geronimo!
Jimmy Doolittle
Chuck Yeager
Clarence Leonard “Kelly” Johnson
