"Police are investigating an attack on a 12-year-old male Friday night in downtown Cape Girardeau.
Cape Girardeau police Sgt. Joey Hann said at approximately 11:40 p.m., the juvenile was dancing on Main Street near Independence Street when a dark sports utility vehicle stopped in the westbound lane of Independence Street. An adult male passenger exited the vehicle and hit the juvenile in the head from behind. The suspect returned to the vehicle and quickly drove away."

My takeaway from that video is that the people who helped the boy were of all different skin colors.
Hope the police catch the attacker, as well as the driver who must’ve been a part of that attack.
It’s just that like most white folk, decent folks won’t make a peep and so the scum rule.

I find it very, very disturbing to see a 12 year old kid and another likely 10 year old hanging out on a street corner with an apparent adult grooving to a boom box on a Friday night at 11:40 p.m. in a shady area of that city.......

“Where are the parents?” really shouldn’t be the first reaction here. The “knock out game” can happen anytime, anywhere, and it’s the fault of the psycho and no one else. There needs to be new and extremely harsh penalties for playing this “game.”

I had no idea that Cape Girardeau had that element to it.
I seriously doubt that the new bridge or the casino have anything to do conditions downtown. Perfectly safe during the day, a little sketchy very late at night when drunks are out and about.
It’s worth noting that it was black people who came to the kid’s aid—but I still have to wonder where the kid’s parents were.
